This boy had 3 infected upper incisors and those are tooth root abscesses... filled with pus..not that you can see the remaining incisor teeth very well in the first photo.. but they are there.. as shown in the second photo along with what remained of a rotten second lower cheek tooth that was extracted. 21.01.2022 If you have a dog and want to breed even just one litter of puppies this is important information you must read. New dog breeding regulations start in Queensland today and apply to EVERYONE who has a dog that produces a litter of puppies BORN on or after 26 May 2017. All persons giving away, selling or advertising puppies need to have a SUPPLY NUMBER that identifies them as the breeder of that dog. ... A breeder by definition in this circumstance, is any person who has a female dog with a litter. The laws apply to ANYONE who breeds a dog (including professional or occasional breeders, mum and dad breeders, accidental breeders and people who give away dogs or puppies). It affects all animals that are sold, advertised or given away that are born on or after the 26th May 2017. The supply number MUST be included in the dogs microchip information, and there are government penalties if a dog or pup born on or after the 26th May 2017 is given away, sold or advertised without a supply number. You can apply for a supply number up to 28 days after the birth of a litter. This is FREE of charge to apply. For more information (including applying for a Supply Number) and rules with respect to exemptions please go to the Department of Agriculture and Fisheries website. https://www.daf.qld.gov.au//D/registering-as-a-dog-breeder FAQ can be found here: https://www.daf.qld.gov.au//faqs-about-dog-breeder-registr

11.01.2022 HENDRA VIRUS FOUND IN UPPER HUNTER HORSE A case of hendra virus has been confirmed in an unvaccinated mare on a property near Scone in the Upper Hunter Valley. ...The Department of Primary Industries says the horse developed neurological signs last Friday and was euthanased after it became unresponsive. A District Vet from Hunter Local Lands Services visited the property on Sunday to collect samples, and the State Veterinary laboratory has confirmed hendra infection. DPI says no other horses are showing signs of ill health but theyre being monitored daily. NSW Health is conducting risk assessments of people whove had contact with the affected horse and controlling the movement of animals and people on and off the property.
