16.01.2022 Dear Members Re: COVID 19 NOTICE The committee has met and after careful consideration we have decided that we are going to suspend Goalball for the time being, this is for ALL players, juniors, youth and seniors.... We will reconvene to discuss further action with the view to recommence in May, dependant on the situation. We would like the younger teams to still be able to connect during this time, so we will look at running an online platform for them to get together and do some activities, we will let you know in the coming week about this. Yours Sincerely Nicole Abbott Chairperson

09.01.2022 Hey members and volunteers, Re: COVID 19 and Goalball WA We all know the world events surrounded by the virus. At present our risk at Goalball WA is low for community transmission, but the committee will meet and decide on our steps from here. Tomorrow our training games will still go ahead. But please follow the following:... Come for your time slot of training - and maybe not ‘hang around’ at other session times. Please stay away for 14 days if you have any symptoms of feeling ill, runny nose, sore throat or a raised temperature. Use thorough hand washing techniques - lots of soap with water, and sing Happy Birthday twice while really washing the hands - all the nooks and crannies between the joins of your fingers and joints etc. Parents please show your juniors how to wash their hands correctly. Wash hands inbetween playing and eating/drinking. Do NOT share whistles or any other item that can cause cross infection. If you have travelled on a flight in the past 14 days, please do not come to Goalball - we have nurses and some immunosuppressed players/volunteers who need to keep safe, as well as the rest of us. Remember we are a community and like a family. The committee will meet regularly and make an action plans to get us all through the season. Kind Regards Nicole Abbott Chairperson.

08.01.2022 Goalball WA is hoping to start back up either next Saturday or the following, we just have a few housekeeping items to do. We will miss you. We will think about if we will give approval and release you to NSW ;)
