25.01.2022 The first ever Tennis Camp in NSW for people with blindness and low vision! Thankyou Tennis Australia for hosting this event, Tennis NSW for letting us play... on your indoor bubble courts, Steve for coaching our players and @blindsportsnsw program manager Sonja for her assistant coaching. All the players had so much fun, made new friends and even went home with a goodies bag! It was also fantastic to have Jensen's Tennis reps come out to support the event as they include blind low vision tennis into their club this week! 24.01.2022 MEET A MEMBER: Back in 2015 Kendra brewer joined our NSW Goalball community in our Hunter HUB. Some might know Kendra from her awesome blue hair at every AGC's Kendra is not only a fun loving, big hearted player, she also is one of the very few sighted players that play for our state! Goalball to Kendra is an enjoyable, unique and inclusive sport, and she would love more people to join! If she isn't on the Goalball court Kendra loves music and reading as well as being a social butterfly talking and messaging friends. Pictured below is Kendra throwing a ball during play as well as a team photo back at the 2017 AGC's with (you guessed it) blue hair.

19.01.2022 As we countdown to the end of 2020 we reflect on the positives that this year has brought. We welcomed a new group of amazing people & players to our community, we acknowledge the amazing board we have had for almost 10 years and welcome a new one with welcoming arms, we appreciate and acknowledge our volunteers/helpers/work placement students/parents/officials and coaches, we are fortunate with the City/DTM cups we have had, our trainings and most importantly we are EXCITED for our 2021 SEASON! 17.01.2022 CHECK THIS OUT!! THE BLIND CHEF CAFE. This cafe space has a layout to allow for vision-impaired people, and those in wheelchairs, to easily manoeuvre around. Run all by a person who is legally blind! With Sydney HUB training being on hold due to COVID NSW we have teamed up with Victoria for the inaugural NSW vs VIC COVID Cup!! ... The rules are simple - In the month of September, each 1km you run or walk = 1 point and every 10 minutes of any other exercise = 1 point. The state with the most points at the end of September wins!
