09.01.2022 We had the most wonderful winter weekend at Goanna Cobana. The hosts, Charlie and Rosie, met us on arrival and were so accommodating with answering all our ques...tions. They gave us loads of information on the area regarding walks, wineries, pubs, villages etc to visit . Our Cobana was very comfortable, cozy and gorgeously decorated, it overlooks the pool and the misty wintery valley. We didn't utilise the pool in front of the Cobana (bit chilly this time of year). Charlie took us on a great bush walk for a couple of hours - really beautiful escarpment. Breakfast was excellent - we had the lot which included their own chickens eggs. If we wanted, we could have used their bbq facilities and outdoor dining area for dinners, but we chose to eat out at the Laguna pub (being COVID for past couple of months, we didn't want to cook). Highly recommend this accommodation if you are wanting to stay in this area, as it is close to everything, but you have the added bliss of country silence.

04.01.2022 So, get away from the hysteria..... calm and relax in the beautiful green autumn cool. Still warm enough to swim, enjoy a sundowner, peace and quiet. No virus talk here, loo roll abundant. Come on up.
