23.01.2022 This is exciting! The bolt in cage for Emma's R31 skyline has arrived! The summer project of a few updates to the dirt rally car can begin! AGI Roll Cages

23.01.2022 Sound up! Thank you to Dean Mathieson for capturing this great snippet of video at the MSS Safety Gorge Rallysprint today, on our way to 3rd in class. Another podium finish and another trophy for the old girl! Arguably the best bit of a motorsport event is scouring social media afterwards for photos or videos captured by spectators. Dean has been a great help in our z31 journey!

22.01.2022 Emma & Ross show us around the bargain of the century, at the 2020 Legend of the Lakes hillclimb. Find out how they got it so cheap, what they've done to it and watch the big Merc take on one of Australia's toughest hillclimb courses!

22.01.2022 Another great photo from Sunday, again with Ross driving. Looks like I (Emma) will have to drive a bit harder next time to get a photo guernsey haha no photos for me. Check out Tony's whole album, there's some great shots in there! Tony Donoghue Photography

21.01.2022 So we couldn't work out why Ross didn't come back after the sighting lap... Then my phone rang, he needed help as the car was out of fuel... The joys of a shared car that no one really owns, so one thought to check fuel this morning... Apparently it's a 35lt tank.... We just put 34.95lt in This weekend is fun and hilarious already! If you're free this weekend, head down to the bend!

20.01.2022 Looks like we'll need to put an order in, some great shots by MSI Media. We always try to support the photographers at events, being on the inside we don't really get a chance to take any pics so we rely on the photographers out there Check out the rest of the photos from MSI http://msimedia.com.au/willunga-hillclimb-2020/

19.01.2022 Some of the awesome photos from Sports Car Safari are coming though. Here's a few of our favs!

19.01.2022 Boy, we have worked hard on this car over the last few years. From featuring as a budget build in unique cars, to being a competitive car and bringing home trophies from our last 2 events. https://www.tradeuniquecars.com.au//budget-build-nissan-30

18.01.2022 Great day out at Mallala for our pre MSS Safety Gorge Rallysprint shakedown! Great weather, cars behaving well and fabulous company! Thanks Ant from PCMHacking for the 1:1 tuition to further increase my knowledge of tuning this car! Thanks SWAN Ignition Coils Business Page for your continued support. And thank you to my parents for continuing to allow us to take over your shed and also your never ending baby sitting duties. If anyone wants to go horse riding, check out www.kirbypark.com

16.01.2022 A few cars on SS3 at AGL Rally SA - Rally of the Heartland 2021

16.01.2022 In car footage from Mallala on Saturday, a rare lap with clear air.

16.01.2022 So we don't know official times, but heres a little head to head of our last run of the day! Ross is a couple of seconds faster, such a fun track! Thanks to the hard working Southern Districts Car Club committee and volunteers for all their efforts in organising and running the Khanancross series. Whilst we may not be contenders, we certainly have a lot of fun!

15.01.2022 Our Trailblazer getting some more love! Great work by Rob at Rnegade Detailing Services

15.01.2022 That time when I decided I wanted to do motorsport as well, and there was an event I could enter. I rang Ivar Stanelis and asked if I could bring my car, fresh from the paddock, down to scrutineering for AGL Rally SA - Rally of the Heartland. I knew it wouldn't actually pass, but I wanted to find out if it was fundamentally suitable for intro. So we packed up the whole family, and I rocked up to scrutineering with my young son strapped to my chest, my husband and my step daug...hter, with a car that had no lights, no horn, no fire extinguishers and faded pink paint. But with a desire to give dirt rallying a go, and 2 weeks to get it ready if given the go ahead, we headed to scrutineering and were given the go ahead to get the car prepped and re-present on the day of the event. 2 weeks later we turned up with a prepped car, still smelling like paint from the touch up on the red we'd done less than 24 hours beforehand. What a terrific event, I can't wait to go back! Thanks to Jan from Wheel Fast Media for capturing these photos at scrutineering, she came across them recently and sent them to me. Thanks for Ivar for continuously supporting grass roots motorsport and giving me the opportunity to present. We did get the car ready and we had a fabulous time at the rally. I've now done a few rallies and hope to step up into SARC next year after I've done the regularity class at Rally of the Heartlands. See more

14.01.2022 A good look at the whole field yesterday, we feature at around 16:50

13.01.2022 Some in car footage on SS4 Prairie 1 This is the stage we had a daring kangaroo join us! https://youtu.be/IyR_YoWKRL8... And, no, I (Emma) have no idea why I am incapable of a simple countdown on my fingers, I mess that up more often than I get it right I think! Adelaide Rally AGL Rally SA - Rally of the Heartland

13.01.2022 Ok, so this needs a special mention.... The great Clio, the class winning (but third place awarded) Clio, the little rocket that could, the perky little car that kept me safe from the thunder and lightening during the massive storm on Sunday, the car that Ross drove and chased down and passed Every, Single. Car. in the field at the end of the day on Sunday... well the build for this car started in earnest only a few days before the event. Yes, I know that sound like somethin...g we'd do, but it turns out there's other people out there crazy like us, who do the impossible to make the magical happen. Our mad like minded friend is Tim Williams (and Tobias Knowles!), and I'll just put it here in his own words here ---- "I’d like to note that the Clio was converted from a shopping car to a category winning track weapon in 4 days. And that included custom making the roll cage in my home shed This photo was taken on Tuesday afternoon at 3pm when I picked up the Cold Drawn Seamless 2.5mm thick steel bar we made the cage from. The first interior trim came out of the car not long after." ---- Hat's off to you & your crew Tim, you did a great thing, and we say thank you!

11.01.2022 Need to get one with the whole team, but we got a trophy!

11.01.2022 What an eventful day! We have survived day 1 of Me'lon Aid, a charity budget endurance race. Unable to prep a car Ourselves due to a lack of time, we joined the OpenPitLane teams. Coming into this weekend with very little idea what to expect, we were greeted with a lot of adventure this morning. With no one really owning the cars, and no team manager, we found ourselves amongst 12 other people, most of whom we'd never met, and 3 cars to be driven. Everyone too polite to poke ...around the cars too much, none of us really knowing what the plan was. So unbeknownst to all of us, we sent out two cars onto the track without fuel this morning!! The UP lasted the sighting lap, then came in spluttering. Not long over we heard the MX5 had come off due to no fuel as well! But the early surprise didn't end there, as it was being driven back out to the track, it stalled and wouldn't start again. The isolator switch had gone rogue and fried itself. Meanwhile, our third car was in its final stages of preparation, yes that's right, one of the cars wasn't quite ready to start first thing this morning, but better late than never, the perky Clio joined thr stable before too long. At the beginning of the day, I found a pad of unicorn paper that I started scribbling notes on, trying to keep a record of who was in what car, when they were field etc. With a moment of downtime, I took my unicorn paper a d upgraded to an A4 piece of paper. Then at the next opportunity I'd uograde to the laptop! And before we knew it, I had a run sheet on thr laptop for the whole team up see, even doing outrageous things like planning fuel stops, recording fuel consumption, tracking who was on for which laps and generally finding a way to bring some sense to the chaos that is a dozen strangers, sharing several cars that hardly anyone knows. Hats off the David for actually getting all thr cars ready, and organising the whole event! That's a huge task! Tomorrow I may even have time to write up a fu day schedule for drivers, oh and we get another car joining the fleet tomorrow, so that will be cars to keep tabs on. Massive thanks to everyone in our teams, everyone is pulling together to keep the cars running and having fun in the process! By picking up that little pad of unicorn paper, I somehow started the transition to team manager across the 3 (now4?) cars. Here's the live timing. 11.01.2022 A full lap from the end of the day. New suspension is brilliant, removing the rear sway bar made a good difference, fresh tyres scrubbed in nicely for Gorge rallysprint, and a few more tweaks to the tune.

09.01.2022 Ross having a bit of fun on the dirt today!

09.01.2022 Part 2 (of 4) - video of most cars on Long 1, Into the Night & Out of the night AGL Rally SA - Rally of the Heartland 2021

07.01.2022 A great series of photos and some video from Radestilo, make sure you scroll to the end to hear it! Last stage of the day, laying a bit of rubber down at the start of Antsey Hill! https://www.instagram.com/p/CFSwP78HN5M/?igshid=seasrjzo3lx1

06.01.2022 The Zed is getting ready for a shakedown at Mallala this weekend, ahead of the MSS Safety Gorge Rallysprint. New rubber from SA Motorsport Tyres And the set up of the new MCA Reds by Team BRM This car is becoming a nicely sorted package!

05.01.2022 A bit of excitement on turn 1 today!

03.01.2022 Ross and the Zed at Willunga Hillclimb

03.01.2022 In car footage from SS5 Vista 2 at the 2020 MSS Safety Gorge Rallysprint. Adelaide Rally Adelaide Tarmac Pacenotes AGL Rally SA - Rally of the Heartland 2021 https://youtu.be/DvCDvgPhM-I

03.01.2022 Finally got a chance to do some recce today, for the MSS Safety Gorge Rallysprint tomorrow!! As always, Adelaide Tarmac Pacenotes are on the money, these pacenotes are going from strength to strength! Now to go clean and sticker up the Zed, and we'll be good to go! Edited to add for those who aren't familiar with pacenotes... That line on the pacenotes means a 200m straight into a 5 Right corner, with a late apex, into a 4 Left with a crest between the two corners, then anoth...er 200m straight. The scale of corners goes from 1 (tightest) to 10. And the underline means it needs to all be read together and promptly as the corners are close together. It would be read as: 200. Five right, late. Crest into four left. 200. See more

02.01.2022 MSS Safety Gorge Rallysprint 3rd place, Classic Challenge

02.01.2022 In car from Ross' last run of the day for a 1:39, the old zed is doing pretty well. Still a little flat spot there at the end, so next on the agenda will be some dyno time and then maybe some boost!
