24.01.2022 Gahh I love how the goats fuzz up when it rains they all look so fluffy This is little Miss Marg

22.01.2022 This is my constant view around the farm. There is always at least 2 or 3 invading my personal space and waiting for pats or attention and the chance I could have treats with me. Zurro and Snows turn, waiting Soo eagerly! We wouldn't have it any other way

22.01.2022 Still no babies, still no milk... Trying to patiently wait, yet these girls are testing us! Any week or even day now we will begin kidding season! This girly still doesn't have a name... Only 15 girls don't have names the rest I know off by heart Any suggestions? She is from our "Della" mob so ***** Della will be her name :)

22.01.2022 Some Monday cuteness Our kidding season has officially began!! A massive thank you to all those who have donated towels after our call out, these little guys will be so thankful as are we with these chilly mornings these towels and sheets help with birthing and our orphans to stay warm

19.01.2022 Ella loves to be in every photo, but check out that belly in the background!! That is Miss Ruby, only 1 baby last year so we will see how many that belly holds very shortly as alot of our girls enjoy their food also!. We are all trying to wait patiently for this kidding season to begin! We are only weeks away from more milk, which means more milk products some exciting ones to share with you and more cheese too

16.01.2022 We have had to adapt how we work to suit knowing at times kids will pop through our arms for a cuddle! Marj who I shared on here a few weeks ago is growing up so quickly and may have opened up our love for another breed of goat, the Boer!!! Marj is a boer X Nubian which means in 12 months time she will have the creamiest milk perfect for goats ricotta or goats milk pancakes

15.01.2022 We have had an extremely busy week/weekend!! Our birthing shed is nearly full we have hit over the 20 kid mark in the last 3 days with 9 more babies born last night and many more to come too!! We are embracing the sun today after a chilly 24 hours helping kid in the rain!.. These two are two of three and are from our beautiful Ella! What a beautiful udder also miss Ella is one of our friendliest goats and it was such a beautiful moment when she enjoyed me helping her birth. We had many cuddles inbetween as if I were her birthing partner! Relationships with your animals makes the world of difference!!!

14.01.2022 We have been quite busy over here!! Lots of new little faces joining our crew. Our Saanen cross girls are first to kid. With others still baking their buns for a few months. Most of These Saanens are first time mums and were joined coming into our care, so it has been like surprise packages this time round. We have had our usual white Saanen X babies but their father had alot of colour which has thrown some beautiful markings also that I had to share a few with you!! ...

13.01.2022 Goats are the best medicine! Dory (left) loves to run off and eat her food away from the others, this always makes her look like a chipmunk Dory is 1 of 6 to Sandy who is standing with her, which also means Dory is one of the babies last Kidding we tried to keep her alive which had us sleeping in the lounge and waking up like they were newborn human babies Now she is one of our biggest kids we have...

08.01.2022 when some kiddies come for a cuddle and then move themselves in for a nap

08.01.2022 Our current kids are getting used to the fact that they will be picked up they are all quite cuddly even though they are at that boisterous stage. The last one I check for that day usually will stay in my arms until I have checked most mums, I will look down and they are either really chilled like this guy or asleep! This is one way in helping them to be tame goats

07.01.2022 And our second kidding round of 2020 has begun!! With a big shock as Miss Phoebe wasn't one of the ones we were anxiously waiting to kid and they are still making us wait!. Both miss Phoebe and miss Ruby have now kidded with more showing signs we are in for a big few weeks!!! Sandy is showing now, will she get close to her PB of 6 like last season?? These babies so far are Miss Sundays, or from Mr Lincoln Sunday

02.01.2022 We are glad that the isolation rules don't include animals as these guys are enjoying the extra time we have for them at the moment. When Miss Alice Della and Miss Mary Della came to the farm they wouldn't go near people. We found their soft point Wheat bix!!! Now look at them We have a few girls that may be getting close so there may be some baby spam soon!!
