25.01.2022 Not something that happens very often! Please check traffic updates if you HAVE to travel. Avoid unnecessary travel. Water levels are still rising in areas and you may be cutoff. Just because it's not raining doesn't mean anything!!

23.01.2022 Enjoying our own backyard! Vicki and Cameron had a great time in the shade under the Moreton Bay Fig Trees

22.01.2022 This is the reason that we do NOT allow people to build campfires everywhere and are supposed to use the fire pits at the shelter sheds or bring their own fire drum. It's also the reason most camping grounds do not allow ANY campfires at all...people cannot be relied upon to do the right thing This is in the middle of a track this is one of the many issues that we deal with. Please do the right thing, please READ the conditions of entry, located at the Information S...tand (which people can't seem to locate either ) and emailed to those people who have actually booked, which is strongly encouraged. After a VERY difficult year, or so, and with the borders opened up, we thank everyone who came out over the weekend and enjoyed their time at Goat Rock. To the others, please don't ruin it for everyone else. This is OUR home, we are inviting you into and it is a privilege not a given right. See more

22.01.2022 We are in the NSW border zone!! This means ALL Queenslanders can come visit! Just make sure you apply for a border pass online so you can return to QLD!

19.01.2022 Nice to see a bit of green coming along! And some water in the dams

18.01.2022 Unfortunately due to the substantial amount of rainfall we have had in the last 2 days, we have had to make the difficult decision to cancel our Easter activities and functions and close the camping ground immediately for the near future. This is not a decision that has been made lightly, as on top of Covid closures, it is a significant financial loss. The camping ground is simply too wet for vehicles and will definitely not be dry enough by Easter. For the safety of our visitors as well the camping grounds, we have had to make the call. We will continue to update as things progress. Those people that have booked have been notified and if there are any questions, please don't hesitate to contact us.

18.01.2022 Thank you to everyone who came out yesterday for morning tea and lunch! Don't forget our Mother's Day Brunch is this coming Sunday! Bookings are essential!! So make sure you contact us asap to book your spot! Ph/text 0437713488 or message us via Facebook

15.01.2022 Big change over the weekend We had to take the old windmill down that has been over the well for my lifetime here on the farm. The well had to be cleaned out so that we can gain more water as it hasn't been cleaned out in about 30 years. Thanks to the boys for all the help! Bit sad to see it gone but we've got some future plans for it.

14.01.2022 Woohoo! Great news at last! On the 1st of October, the NSW border bubble will be open to ALL Queenslanders! This means that Queenslanders will be able to travel across the border into NSW and visit Goat Rock!!

13.01.2022 Is it bad when most of your photos are of clouds and sunsets An opacarophile is a lover of sunsets. Etymology of the word opacarophile: Latin 'opacare' meaning dusk or sunset + Latin 'phile' meaning lover of.
