The club Junior Training Ford Falcon has been stolen, it is CFA red and had BCC custom plates JNR-005. 19.01.2022 A SPECIAL HOLDEN CAR, DRIVEN BY A SPECIAL HOLDEN STAR TCM founder Tony Hunter built five cars during his 13 years in the category, all of which were GM produc...ts. His distinctive orange and yellow HQ Monaro GTS was central to one of the most memorable moments in TCM history. It is the car that the late Jason Richards drove in a famous one-off appearance at Bathurst in 2011, when Hunter generously offered the seat to his fellow Kiwi for a special weekend on the Mountain. In a truly inspirational performance, JR finished second in the final race and reset the TCM Bathurst lap record - an achievement which, like many of Jasons moments in a racecar, will remain with us forever. 05.01.2022 Victoria Police is aware of a number of incidents over the weekend where people have deliberately breached the Chief Health Officer directions and are not weari...ng face coverings. Thankfully this selfish behaviour is an exception and the vast majority of people are doing the right thing to protect the health and safety of our community. However, the behaviour of those who blatantly choose to disregard the rules on the insistence their human rights are being breached is alarming. Worse yet, it seems these people are more interested in notoriety and getting likes on social media than the health and wellbeing of their fellow Victorians. My message to anyone planning to break the rules is simple: no one has a human right to infect other people and place the entire Victorian community at risk. In fact, this type of behaviour is childish and is completely unacceptable when police are working incredibly hard to keep the community safe. Victoria Police will continue to use the powers available to them under the Public Health and Wellbeing Act 2008 to enforce the Chief Health Officer directions. We will not hesitate to issue $200 fines to people who are obviously and blatantly failing to wear a face covering without a valid reason, such as a medical condition. Police also have the power to arrest people who choose not to wear face coverings and subsequently fail to comply with a police directive to provide proof of identity. 04.01.2022 Congratulations to Ryan Hansford in the Multispares car who won the Touring Car Masters round this weekend. And a big shout out to Jamie Tilley for outstanding ...drives in every race and Stevie J who really showed the pace of The True Blue XD in the last race where he gapped the field. Also my mate John Adams had his rookie race meeting in the ex Tony K GTHO snd pulled off a trophy too in Pro Sport. Great job mate!! Not one safety car this weekend! Well done to nearly everyone! I'm very disappointed with the the driving standards of Ryall Harris in our last TCM race. Driving me towards the fence down the straight, propping mid corner and side by side belting may be acceptable in the Utes where he has raced, but it's not acceptable in these old classics!! Ryall is a talented and fast racer so I hope he learns to control himself a bit more. They are old cars and not easy to repair. I have had hard tussles with everyone in the field over my time in TCM, and hard but fair is how the TCM races should be, don't you reckon? Tell me what you thought of the weekend's racing please.
