12.01.2022 Hi Everyone, Well as promised, it is time for an update: As you would be aware South Australia is in a hard lockdown as of midnight this morning. This means that all physical gatherings have been cancelled. Instead, we would love for you to join us THIS SUNDAY morning at 10am on Facebook to watch a brief message from Pastor Gavin who will speak to us briefly about how we can move forward in Vision and Hope, and level up in our submission of God. Afterwards (approximately 10...:15) we will pop on over to Zoom where we will have some time catching up with the church community and our small groups. If you are not a regular attender of GOBC or are not yet in a small group, we would love for you to join us, where you can meet some of our friendly faces. The zoom link is https://us02web.zoom.us/j/86840255457 but we will also remind you of this on Sunday. On TUESDAY 24th of NOVEMBER at 8pm we will have another prayer/social catch up via Zoom. Bring your preferred evening beverage/supper and get ready to relive the the randomness that is GOBC Zoom Nights. After this catch up the OLT/MLT (Oversight and Ministry Leaders) will be meeting via zoom to discuss any further development in restrictions and its effects on physical gatherings. Remember, these times of restrictions don't suit everyone. Some people really struggle, whether because of circumstance or something else. Who is your neighbour that may need help or to hear a friendly voice today? Who can you display Jesus to today? As always, if you are struggling this week, please reach out to us. One of our small group leaders or church leadership is more than happy to help if we are able. We want to support you and get along side you. You can also find support by calling the SA COVID-19 Mental Health Support Line on 1800 632 753 8.00 am to 8.00 pm 7 days. https://www.sahealth.sa.gov.au/.../infectious.../covid-19

06.01.2022 *COVID-19 UPDATE* Hi Everyone! As I am sure you are aware, in South Australia we have had a renewal of some restrictions in response to the latest COVID-19 outbreak in Adelaide. These will affect church slightly, and the leadership is currently in conversations about what that means for us as a church in the short term. We will have more conversations over the next 24 hours and let everyone know of the decisions at the AGM on Wednesday night, and via our facebook pages and g...roups. In the mean time, please care for the people around you, by following the guidelines that have been put in place by the state government. You can stay informed by going to the SA Health COVID-19 website. If you are struggling with the news today, with so many changes and new information, please reach out to your small group leader, or one of the church leadership so that we can support you and get along side you. You can also find support by calling the SA COVID-19 Mental Health Support Line on 1800 632 753 8.00 am to 8.00 pm 7 days. https://www.sahealth.sa.gov.au//infectious+diseas/covid-19

04.01.2022 Online service - Sunday 29th of November.

03.01.2022 25 November 2020 - Update: Hi everyone, After a quick catch up last night we have decided that this Sunday morning at 10AM, we will be streaming our pre-recorded church service on Facebook/YouTube. The chapel will be open for those who would like to gather in person. Our capacity is limited to 35 due to physical distancing guidelines, and due to this we would ask that if you are able to worship from home (or another space) that you do so this weekend. ... We would love for you to use this opportunity to gather with other people (whether from your personal community, family and friends, or your small group) and watch church together. Thanks for your patience and understanding as we continue to navigate the craziness of 2020!

01.01.2022 Well, what a whirlwind of a week, eh? How quickly things can change?! Well here is, what is hopefully, our last update for this week: On Sunday morning at 10AM, we will be streaming a short church service. The chapel will be open for those who would like to gather (and are unable to watch online). Our capacity is limited to 35, and due to this we would ask that if you are able to worship from home that you do so for the time being. We’d love for you to join us on Zoom after t...he service for a live catch up and prayer time. When anxiety was great within me, your consolation brought me joy. Psalms 94:19 No doubt some of you are feeling a myriad of emotions at the moment. As always, if you need to talk, please reach out for a chat, and remember that above all, God and the promise of His son is the source of all hope and joy. See you all Sunday!
