25.01.2022 We’re not quite sure where this quote came from but we’re very confident every new parent can relate to this.

25.01.2022 And there it is! A family photo where we’re all looking at the camera (and not in our pyjamas or track suit pants). Obviously it could be better, Reuben is pulling a funny face and covered in cookie and Adaline has looked happier, but this is us, in all our imperfect glory. Thanks for making us move 12 times to find the perfect light to take this photo @melcairns

25.01.2022 Thanks for the lovely review Kate.

25.01.2022 Great question! At the moment, we deliver to Canberra and the surrounding regions as well as to the NSW Central Coast. Very soon we’ll be delivering our meals throughout Sydney too! If you know someone in these areas who could do with a little help preparing nutritious meals for their kids, send them our way!

22.01.2022 Why do we love flaxseed oil? Great question! Flaxseed oil contains omega-3 essential fatty acids which are the good fats that have been shown to have heart-healthy effects. ... It also contains soluble and insoluble types of fibre which aids in your little one's digestion. You will find flaxseed oil in Brazen Raisin and Pumpkin Pudding.

21.01.2022 Look at us go! We dressed up not just once but twice this week! How great are date nights! We rarely get to have them but for us, they’re so important for self/couple care. It’s so nice to sit across the table from each other and have an uninterrupted conversation and more importantly, have a glass or two of wine.

20.01.2022 As of tomorrow our meals will be stocked at IGA Mosman. For ACT, meals are stocked at Ainslie IGA and Spence Grocer and for NSW, Thirroul IGA. Head to one of these stores to pick up some meals, or let us know if you’d like to see Gobble Guts meals in a store near you.

20.01.2022 Let us introduce you to Reuben and Adaline’s Papa! He’d be so annoyed if he knew we were posting his picture on social media but we simply had to acknowledge how special he is. This almost 80 year old (yep another reason for him to be annoyed) is incredible with the kids. He’s learnt how to change modern day nappies, gets down on the floor and plays with dolls, builds aeroplanes and vacuums up all their crumbs. He’s one of the most impatient people we know, but with the kids he’d wait all day. The kids (and us) are so lucky to have him in our lives. How amazing are grandparents!

19.01.2022 Thanks for the wonderful review @mrsconnolly__ . We love that Gobble Guts meals come frozen so they can be served to your little ones at any time, making them a convenient and healthy meal option.

19.01.2022 Eyes on the road Adaline!! Reuben is clearly a nervous passenger despite being in a parked car (with no power). We can’t blame him though, his little sister is a fire cracker!

17.01.2022 There are some things that are just meant to go together: sleep-ins and rainy days; a comfy chair and a good book; coffee and early mornings. Like these perfect combinations, vitamins C, A and the mineral iron are a match made in nutritional heaven. In many of our meals, we combine vitamins C and A with iron to enhance iron absorption. These superstar vitamins capture non-haem iron and store it in a form that's more easily absorbed by your little one’s body. Iron plays a vital role in your kid’s development, and assists them to maintain optimal energy levels to fuel their active days.

11.01.2022 Gobble Guts meals are created for babies from six months of age. We offer two meals sizes 130g meal for babies and toddlers from six months to two years and a 250g meal size for kids three to five years. Whilst some Gobble Guts meals contain grains that may be more difficult for babies to digest, all legumes and grains used in our meals are soaked prior to cooking, which helps reduce the amount of anti-nutrients. This increases the absorption of zinc, iron, magnesium and calcium and also makes it easier for your little one to digest the grain.

Just one tablespoon has 9 grams of fat your little one can use to fight inflammation and lower cholesterol. Vitamin E. Protects essential fats from free radicals and enables fats to reduce cell damage and increase immunity against infections.... Major source of magnesium. Key for bodily functions like energy production, nerve impulses, heart and digestive health, and even sleep quality. Protein powerhouse. Helps your little one feel fuller for longer, kick starts their metabolism and provides their little bodies with the fuel they need to function. You can find Sunflower Seed Butter in our Green Machine meal.

08.01.2022 Goodnight to all the little people!

08.01.2022 There was a celebration in Spencer’s household this weekend not only cause it was Father’s Day but because he ate his breakfast without too much encouragement! Spencer really enjoyed Brazen Raisin and had to eat it before his Mum did! Thank you for sharing @courtsommers

07.01.2022 Cousins have such a special bond!

07.01.2022 Gorgeous Ayla loves her Gobble Guts meal! Ayla’s parents added some tofu to Feeling Okray for some added protein. There are so many ways to serve GG meals!

07.01.2022 Getting your kids to eat Beetroot can be really hard! However, Simply the Beets has a delicious combination of beetroot, pear, zucchini, blueberries, hemp seeds and cinnamon, making this bright and nutritious meal a winner among the little ones.

06.01.2022 This meal has become very popular among little ones (and their parents ). It’s one of our personal favourites and contains some great ingredients with lots of vitamins and minerals: Gluten Free Oatmeal contains high amounts of magnesium, iron and zinc and is a fibre-rich food which helps prevent constipation. Coconut milk contains healthy fats essential for brain development.... Pears are high in fibre and Vitamin C, gentle on the stomach and helps alleviate constipation. Raisins are rich in minerals like potassium, phosphorus, iron, calcium and magnesium that help in the mental and physical development of your little one. Cinnamon contains anti-fungal and anti-bacterial properties. Chia seeds are highly nutritious containing fibre, omega-3, protein and antioxidants and are gentle on little tummies.

05.01.2022 Did you know people used to believe (falsely) that eating parsnips could relieve a toothache or tired feet? Despite not being the answer for everything, we use them in our Kid Me Beans meal as they contain an array of nutritional benefits and taste pretty yummy too. Parsnips are high in Vitamins C and K, folate and potassium and also contain a small amount of calcium, iron, and vitamin B2 (a vitamin needed for growth and overall good health). ... Parsnips also contain antioxidants that may prevent oxidative stress and chronic conditions like cancer, diabetes, and heart disease. The high quantity of vitamin C and antioxidants in parsnips may enhance your little one’s immune function, which is particularly useful at keeping the day-care bugs away. Last but not least, parsnips contain fibre, which is great at improving your little one’s digestive health, regulating blood sugar levels, and enhancing heart health. You can probably see now why this quiet achiever holds a special place in our hearts.

05.01.2022 Free shipping on all orders for Canberra, Sydney and Central Coast!

04.01.2022 We love this meal! Not only is Gobble Guts our signature meal because it’s absolutely delicious, it also contains so many nutritious ingredients: Risotto rice is packed with Vitamin A and C goodness.... Baby spinach offers a trifecta of ingredients for enhancing eye health: beta-carotene, lutein, and Vitamin E. Mushrooms are rich in Vitamin B12, phosphorus and other essential nutrients that keep your little one energetic throughout the day. Peas are packed Vitamin K which helps build healthy bones and contain a substantial amount of protein. Sweet potatoes are full of fibre, potassium and Vitamin C. They contain beta-carotene, which plays a role in eye health. Olive oil is rich in monounsaturated fatty acids that benefit the heart and pancreas. Brown onion is a great source of Vitamin C, it can prevent bacterial infections and enhance your baby’s immune system. Lemon contains Vitamin C which helps boost immunity. Oregano contains certain compounds that have potent antibacterial properties. If you’re after a meal that contains a great variety of ingredients for your little one, you can’t go past Gobble Guts!

03.01.2022 We fruit! It’s sweet, delicious and satisfies our sweet cravings, but as adults, we also know we should make some space for vegetables too. If we feed our babies and toddlers fruit at every meal, they will quickly develop a preference for this sweeter taste over the more savoury flavours. ... At Gobble Guts, we believe in balance. Fruit has a place in every diet but when our little one’s are experiencing new flavours and developing their preferences for certain foods, we want to ensure they are just as happy eating broccoli as they are a banana. To assist with this, some of our meals are completely fruit free. If your little one has already developed a taste for sweeter meals, these meals are a great way to introduce some savoury flavours. Try Mini Me Chickpea, Hey Pesto, Gobble Guts, Sweet Pea and Kid Me Beans if you’re after free fruit meals.

03.01.2022 Fun fact: For thousands of years, Thyme has had a reputation as a healer and protector. It was associated with courage and bravery and was given as a gift to soldiers about to go into battle. Nowadays, Thyme is known as one of the richest sources of antioxidants among the herbs. It's packed with vitamins C and A and is also a good source of copper, fibre and iron. Thyme also contains manganese, required for the normal functioning of the brain and nervous system. Thyme is... thought to be great for soothing coughs and sore throats and improving heart and digestive health. It contains a compound that is known to increase levels of dopamine and serotonin which regulates motivation, drive and overall mood. We use Thyme in our Kid-Me Beans.
