23.01.2022 TWAS THE NIGHT OF THE SOLSTICE Twas the night of the Solstice, the party was done Soon we would gather to call back the Sun The season of Winter was half the w...ay through We called for the Mother to birth Him anew The children were quiet or now fast asleep The elders drew near, the solstice to keep All were prepared and the circle was raised In peace and in silence as deep as a cave The Priestess then lifted the sword upon high The Priest made the ancient call to the sky So ancient that cry that asks for rebirth As Mother and Sun Child are called to the Earth Then what to our wondering eyes did appear? The Lord and the Lady our folk all revere "What is your need that you call us this night?" "Bring us," we chorused, "the Child of Light." "Lady, Who art the season of birth "Come to us, bless us, dear Mother Earth." "We hear you," She answered, "and so it shall be "As Solstice is here, I return Him to thee." "But remember your promise and cherish your land "For He gives both the seed and death by His hand." The silence was total, the Priestess bowed low The priest gave salute, asking, "What do we owe?" "You owe us your laughter," He said, "and you your love "And in all your magicks, respect for Her Grove "Rape not Her body, nor pillage Her soil "Labour with love and give free of your toil "And follow the seasons of Moon and of Sun "Do so with love and We always will come "To comfort and guide you, to bring you rebirth "So give of your love and your land, Mother Earth." So saying, They faded, we wondering looked on The Solstice rite done with morning birdsong The message They gave was of love, not of pain That the land that we cherish be fruitful again The circle was ended, the peace yet abides Through cycles of seasons and love we'll not hide. Her children who met Them that night in the grove' Still cherish the land and their message of love.

19.01.2022 For something a little different this week we will be working with the colours of the Chakras starting with the 1st Chakra which is red. I'm also going to give ...a bit of information on each of the chakras as we come to them on our page "Goddess Grove Women Empowering Women Circle". If you haven't already liked that page please like it and then you will get all the information. Hope you enjoy it. Also if anyone would like to dress up in the appropriate colour and post it here, that would be great. BB Sue xx The word chakra comes from the Sanskrit, meaning wheel or disk. These moderators of subtle energy are traditionally depicted as lotus flowers, each resonating at different frequencies, corresponding to the colours of the rainbow. Although the human energy system is said to have many chakras, and new ones are being discovered all the time, the traditional Hindu system names seven major ones. These are positioned with the stems of each lotus flower metaphysically embedded into the spinal column, or sushumna, from the coccyx to the crown of the head. The chakra system has developed into a rich, valuable explanation of the holistic nature of humankind. It outlines, how, in order to maintain a healthy, balanced life, we must attend not just to certain physical dysfunctions that may occur but to our emotional, intellectual, and spiritual needs as well. Each of the seven chakras deals with different parts of this bigger picture and directs us to those areas where we might be functioning out of balance.

19.01.2022 It's that time of the year again when we start collecting presents for our local Women & Children's Refuge here at Goddess Grove/Crystal Magick. If you would li...ke to donate please just wrap your present with a card attached saying whether it is for a lady, boy or girl (plus approximate age group), teenager or baby. Sometimes it is hard to think of something for teenagers so a good suggestion is a Gift Card from either KMart or BigW. Donations can be dropped to me at 9 Perks St, Wallsend. 17.01.2022 Blessings of Ostara, the Spring Equinox to all my SH friends and blessings of Mabon to my NH friends. Here is a lovely little blessing I found. Spring has come...! For this, we are thankful! The Divine is present all around, in the cool fall of a rain storm, in the tiny buds of a flower, in the down of a newborn chick, in the fertile fields waiting to be planted, in the sky above us, and in the earth below us. 16.01.2022 I am a Collection Point for "Share the Dignity". All donations will be gratefully accepted here at Goddess Grove/Crystal Magick. 9 Perks St, Wallsend. 041179062...4. Items can be left on my front verandah if no one is home. Items needed are any type of sanitary product and all personal care products including body wash, shampoo, deodorant, etc. Blessings, Sue Share the Dignity works to make a real, on the ground difference in the lives of those experiencing homelessness, fleeing domestic violence, or doing it tough. We distribute period products to those in need and work to end period poverty here in Australia. When someone is doing it tough, the last thing on their mind should be dealing with their period. We assist these those in need through collecting thousands of period products each year through our collection drives and campaigns and distribute them directly to charities across Australia.
