In fact, Id strongly advise against that If you dont enjoy your food, what are the chances youll stick with it long term ... But if you can have carrot pancakes with almond caramel for breakfast , and STILL reach your goals, then wouldnt that be WAY more enjoyable? 12.01.2022 YOU GET TO CHOOSE Theres a lot we dont have a control over right now. We dont have a choice over how long well be in lockdown for, about whether our kids go back to school next term or we have to keep homeschooling them about when we get to see our friends and family again or go on holidays or to the pub or the park or the gym. But theres plenty we DO still have control over. ... We can choose whether we mindlessly snack our way through quarantine or eat food that gives us energy and strengthens our immunity. We can choose whether we drink a bottle of wine every night to dull the groundhog day-like boredom and the stress, or whether we go for a run or workout instead . We can choose whether we scroll social media until well into the night, or whether we prioritise sleep so we have more energy and patience and willpower (to resist the quarantine snacks and wine ) the next day. There are a lot of things we cant control, but as a great coach of mine used to say, control the control-ables. You get to decide how you want to look and feel at the end of all this. So make sure your choices reflect that
