07.01.2022 SELF JUDGEMENT The killjoy to sharing our gifts with the world and to our own self expression. If I stopped to think about it too much, I might never share any of my hoop flow videos.... If I listened to my inner critic too much, it would probably tell me to stop showing off, Or i should be doing something more serious, or more professional with my time than sharing videos of me dancing around my garden like a flighty day dreamer. If I stopped to think too hard about it, I might start to imagine those watching the video and saying things like who does she think she is? And I might never post anything let alone take a risk and offer a workshop with a focus on giving the Feminine a much needed safe space to explore, play, express, let go and awaken unto itself. I’m sharing this because a lot of us don’t allow ourselves to do what is it our hearts or at least give it a try out of fear of failure. Yep! I’m scared that I’ll fail and feel like a jerk, but I also know that as long as I speak from the heart & share what’s inside and just be myself and allow that to shine through, I can’t really fail at all. Because how can we really fail at just being ourselves and sharing that with others? Is that even possible? So to those beautiful people out there who might be thinking of doing something which pushes you out of your comfort zone, how little or how big that might be, to those who have been pushing away an idea that keeps coming to them - give it a go, listen to your heart and speak from your heart. Simply let your words flow from this space. You are worthy. You are enough. 04.01.2022 If you think Hoop dance is too tricky - this is all on-body waist hooping (apart from a teenie bit of shoulder hooping at the end). Once you get the hang of waist hooping, this is your foundation to allow whatever freedom of movement you want to channel through your body. This is why I love waist hooping so much.
