21.01.2022 One of the best parts of my job is getting to meet so many lovely, incredible women from all around the world and all walks of life. Many of these women become friends and will forever be a part of our Goddess community (even when they move back over to the other side of the world!). Amanda was one such woman I was lucky enough to meet and it was a pleasure to help her get back into exercise and regain confidence after her first bub was born (she then trained with God...dess throughout her second pregnancy and after baby no.2 was born!). Although she’s now moved back to Ireland, she’s still a much-loved member of our Goddess tribe . Thanks for your beautiful words, Amanda! Prior to joining Goddess Outdoor Fitness, training had never been a consistent part of my life. It had always been a means to an end but I had never enjoyed the journey that all changed the day I met Amy! I remember that first morning well. I was a new Mum - 3 months post-partum - and felt quite intimidated about getting back into exercise. I needn’t have worried. After that first session I knew I was onto a winner. Amy was meticulous. She gave focused attention in a group environment and I felt in very safe hands. She encourages you out of your comfort zone and guides you to recognise what you are actually capable of. An added bonus was the community of amazing women that makes up Goddess Outdoor Fitness. The supportive, friendly atmosphere that Amy has cultivated is second to none and everyone cheers you on to reach your goals no matter your fitness level. It is a joy to be part of. Joining Goddess has changed my life in so many ways training is now a non-negotiable part of my life and I thoroughly enjoy the journey!! I have also loved the challenge of setting a goal and achieving it. The confidence that comes with that capability has really changed my life. Thank you Amy for all your guidance and support, you will forever be my health and fitness guru! I thank my lucky stars that my wonderful friend Meg organised that first training session for our mother’s group all those years ago!!

06.01.2022 This is so true in more ways than one. Ever felt like you’re too old to start something new? Like it’s too late to get back into exercise if you’ve had a long break (because kids/ career/ life etc!!)? Nope. Wrong. ... We’ve had women start training with us in their 40s and 50s after a long (like, 20-year) break from exercise. Within a year they’ve gone from lacking confidence to leading the way. On a micro level, have you ever been running late for training and thought, stuff it there’s no point? My philosophy is always this: coming late to a session is better than not coming at all. A short workout beats no workout. It’s never too late to get started - so what are you waiting for?
