25.01.2022 Having heard Mantas were starting to be seen again, Dive Quest set out for Manta Bommie on Sunday. Sure enough we found Mantas, Eagle Rays, Bull Rays, Blue Spotted Rays, Guitar sharks, Wobbegongs and Turtles. Fantastic day out with minimal current and 15 to 20m viz.

24.01.2022 A bumpy trip out to Flinders Reef on Sunday paid off with two great dives at Turtle Cleaning station and surrounds. The viz started out low, but picked up during the day with clear conditions on the second dive. Congratulations to four new Open Water Divers completing their training with Instructor Brett: Brian, Jon, Nick and Sam - welcome to the world of Scuba!

24.01.2022 How do you top a day like yesterday at Manta Bommie, when Manta Bommie was going off? Well you do Flinders with a grey nurse shark and tons and tons of Turtles with 20m viz, thats how. Congratulations to our 5 new Open Water students who got to experience the best of Brisbane diving. With PADI Instructors Brett Sapwell and Tim Simkin.

23.01.2022 Expectations were not very high with the amount of rain we had this week and arrival at Manta Bommie reinforced these expectations. Chocolate Milkshake. However on checking out Shag Rock it appeared there was some good diving to be had here. With 8m viz and all the usual suspects around, it was a great day of diving. Congratulations to our four new Rescue Divers and two re-activeates.

21.01.2022 November 2020 - Is it just the water warming up or is it just the Mantarays that think so? Dont miss our debrief on Heron Island tomrrow night - Zoom Meeting at 7pm! - https://mailchi.mp/godive/newsbite_november_2020

19.01.2022 Still 3 spots left for tomorrows double dive on Curtin Artificial Reef

17.01.2022 With phenomenal conditions on the surface and tides in our favour we went to The Pines for a drift dive first, with a large tide the water was clear with out the rushing current we had a great 45min drift dive in 15m viz. Then to Curtin for an amazing dive with glass conditions on the surface and clear water below. Great Day

17.01.2022 5 spots still available for our Curtin Artificial Reef dive this Saturday. https://godive.com.au/en/moreton-bay-marine-park-day-dives

15.01.2022 Who is coming out diving on the weekend? We have spots available for Saturdays trip to North Straddie - hoping to see some more of the local critters! https://godive.com.au/en/moreton-bay-marine-park-day-dives

12.01.2022 Some sad news has just come to light, that the founder of Go Dive, Adam Bowen has been struck down with an aggressive type of Brain Cancer. Some weeks ago he experienced a seizure. The cause was found to be a tumor, which he underwent surgery to have removed. Unfortunately the surgery found that the tumor to be aggressive and terminal. Adam to our knowledge is still in hospital recovering from the surgery. No matter how this news affects you, it won't be as much as it will hi...s partner Bec and their children Scarlett (Aged 6) and Bella (Aged 11 weeks). Adam and Bec's friend has started a go fund me page to help raise money for them to help with the day to day expenses. Go Dive Brisbane would like to express our heart felt support to a man that changed and developed a new level of professionalism to the Brisbane Dive Industry. Peace be with you brother. https://gf.me/u/y3m23a See more

11.01.2022 With the wind down we decided to try our luck at Mant Bommie today for our first dive. Although the visibility was a little low 8 - 10 metres there was lots to see. The Open Water Diverscourse were treated to Manta Rays circling around them while they completed the skills for open water dive one. With the current and surge picking up we moved to Shag Rock for our second dive. Visibility was around the same but there was no current or surge to contend with. While at Shag Rock Mantis shrimp and octopus were added to the marine life seen by our divers today. We hope you all had a great day and hope to see you out again soon

10.01.2022 Conditions don't often get this good, but when they do, WOW! Manta Bommie was the place to go with fantastic visability and loads of inquisative Manta Rays vying for the divers attention.

09.01.2022 Dive Quest ventured out today with a great bunch of people on board. We did 1 dive at Manta Bommie where the current was challenging but an abundance of Manta Rays were flying past us and 1 at Shag Rock that luckily for all had little to no current. Both sites had between 8 - 10 m visibility and a toasty warm 26 Deg. See you all in the new year.

09.01.2022 Glorious day to be out diving, light SSE winds calm surface conditions and the viz isn’t to bad either! The viz improved into the second dive.

08.01.2022 Great conditions

08.01.2022 Fantastic conditions today at Flat Rock for some awesome shark dives. Over 15 Grey Nurse spotted in the Alley and over 20m viz with no current. It was really a treat for all those on board today.

07.01.2022 Feeling a little bit alone at Manta Bommie, that the way we like it! #godive #scubadiving #diving #diverlife #northstradbrokeisland #moretonbaymarinepark #brisbane #queensland #australia

01.01.2022 With day two of the open water divers course we headed to Flinders Reef to complete dives three and four. Current was ripping through the Turtle cleaning station so we headed to Aldens Cave. Visibility was around 15m and still a warm 26 deg water temp. All divers on board had a great couple of dives and we were able to qualify another 4 Open water Divers. Congratulations to David, Kelly-Jo, James and Lisa on your new certification. We hope to see you out with us again soon. All the best in your diving adventures the Go Dive Crew.
