21.01.2022 THE GODS OF FOOD CHEESEBURGER WITH LITTLE GOD RYE (RECIPE) Our sister business Gods of Food have created the perfect cheeseburger recipe with Little God Rye and cheese sauce! Serves 6... Gluten-Free CHEESEBURGER 1kg Beef Mince (160g per burger) 1 Tsp Salt Tsp Black Pepper Oil for Greasing CHEESE SAUCE 400ml Milk 2 tbsp GF Plain flour 50g Butter 100g Cheddar tsp salt & pepper PICKLED CUCUMBER 1 Cucumber (sliced) 3 Tbsp Salt Vinegar to cover TO SERVE Little God Rye - Sweet & Sour Spicy Ketchup Hi-Melt Cheese Slices Lettuce Leaves GF or Normal Burger Buns INSTRUCTIONS CHEESEBURGER Combine all burger ingredients in a bowl, divide into 6 balls and smash together with the palm of your hands until combined, next, flatten into patties. Now, cover and put in the fridge for at least 1 hour before cooking. Remove from the fridge and leave to get to room temperature. Preheat your BBQ or fry pan. Lightly spray your burgers with canola spray oil. Grease the grill rack to prevent your burgers from sticking. Cook for around 6 minutes on each side or until cooked through. Once nearly cooked put two slices of hi melt cheese slices on and cover over with a metal bowl or pan lid, this helps the cheese melt all around the burger! INSTRUCTIONS PICKLED CUCUMBER Slice a cucumber and pop into a large bowl. Next, cover with the salt and mix the salt into the cucumber, now pop into a sterilized jar and cover with vinegar. INSTRUCTIONS CHEESE SAUCE Put a large saucepan on medium heat and then add the butter and melt. Next, add the flour and whisk until you cook out the flour, 2-3 minutes. Now, slowly add the milk in parts and keep whisking until all the milk is added. Next, take off the heat and add the cheese and put back on the heat and whisk again until the cheese is fully melted and there are no lumps. Season with salt and pepper. Allow to go cold before using, fridge over-night and in a bottle works best. TO SERVE Toast your buns insides and then place Little God Rye - Sweet & Sour Spicy Ketchup on each inside of the bun and then lettuce, burger, pickled cucumber & cheese sauce. This is our first year growing chillies and so far we are growing jalapenos, Viennese birds eye, Thai birds eye, Carolina reapers, red & yellow Trinidad scorpion, Hoa lat, Cayene, Hungarian black, Serrano and Scotch bonnet. Some are being grown simply for testing and tasting and others are for current sauces and future products. We also have a local grower growing us Habane...ros too! 06.01.2022 CHINESE GINGER BASIL CHICKEN WITH THE DEMONIC HOT SAUCE AND GARLIC RICE (RECIPE) The GODS have really delivered with this Chinese Ginger Basil with The Demonic Hot Sauce recipe! because it's seriously yum!!! Don't take our word for it and try it today Gluten-Free... 10-15 Minutes INGREDIENTS CHICKEN 4 Chicken breasts 5cm fresh ginger (sliced thinly) 6 Spring onions (White part of chicken stock and green part sliced thinly for garnish) A small handful of fresh basil (remove some leaves for garnish) 800ml Chicken stock 2-5 Tbsp The Demonic Hot Sauce from Gods of Sauces (add to your heat level) 4 Tbsp Dry sherry 4 Tbsp light gluten-free soy sauce Pinch of black pepper & sea salt Fried shallots (garnish) 1 Red chill (garnish & seeds removed and sliced thinly) GARLIC RICE INGREDIENTS 260g Jasmine rice (washed 3 times and drained well) 1 TBSP Vegetable oil 1 Tbsp sesame oil 3 large garlic cloves (minced) 500ml Chicken stock Pinch of black pepper INSTRUCTIONS Put the chicken, ginger, basil, spring onions & chicken stock in a pan and bring to boil on high heat. Next, wash the rice 3 times and drain well. Heat up the veg oil & sesame oil in a pan on medium heat, next, add the garlic and cook for around 2 minutes. Now add the rice and chicken stock pepper and cook on low heat with a lid on for 5-8 minutes until the rice is cooked. Once the chicken pan is at boiling point reduce the heat to simmer for around 5 minutes. Remove the chicken from the pan and allow to rest. Next, discard the spring onions & basil and drain the chicken stock left in the chicken pan and once drained put back into the pan. Now, add in the chicken pan (drained chicken stock pan) The Demonic Hot Sauce to your heat level, dry sherry, soy sauce, salt & pepper to taste. Now, cook for another 5 minutes. SERVING Serve the rice into bowls and slice the chicken and pop on top of the rice, add the chicken stock and garnish with fried shallots, spring onion, red chilli & basil leaves, Now Enjoy!
