23.01.2022 A big thank you to the wonderful artists coordinated by the Phil Stevens Management roster in WA. These guys through two concerts raised $650,000 and we were t...he thankful beneficiary of $20,000 which has gone into round 1 Bemboka allocations. The artists included The Waifs and John Butler. Dave and Josh from the Waifs are from Cobargo and Moruya and so it was close to their hearts. A thank you also to Service One Credit Union who have recently donated $1,500. If you would like to donate our bank details are BSB 633 000 and account no 172 557 944. Then email us on [email protected] and we will organise a receipt for tax purposes.
23.01.2022 What a great day to promote GoFenceMe. Whilst the paddocks are very green and the sky is clear and blue you can still see the black trees that remind us of the fires that were not very long ago. GoFenceMe was pleased to be able to assist local farmer Simon Bateman, who is also the Numbugga fire captain and has given 30 years to the local fire service. He was off fighting fires while his own property was burning. GoFenceMe is a charity designed to assist farmers access sub...sidisation for fencing materials along with the provision of advice on materials and processes. Simon told the GoFenceMe committee that he will now be able to put cattle on this block that now has plenty of feed. For GoFenceMe to make a difference we need more funding. We have vigorous processes in place to ensure the subsidised materials are given equitably and to those in need. Please dont forget our fire impacted farmers. 19.01.2022 GoFenceMe Inc donations to BSB 633000 Account 17255 7944. We have now advised all applicants for round 1 of our grants towards fencing materials. This round was for Bemboka. Our focus has been on boundary fencing between neighbours now that the NSW Government is contributing significantly towards fencing adjoining road and public land. Thanks to Andrew Constance and John Barilaro for their support and spreading this load. Go Fence Me Inc is continuing to seek financial donations and support so that we can continue this important work to help farmers and landowners. Please pass the word around.
19.01.2022 Great news - GoFenceMe Inc has now been endorsed as a PBI (public benevolent institution) charity. Also the ATO has granted our DGR status which means all donations received from our incorporation on 11 February 2020 are tax deductible. We welcome more donations and we ask they are made direct to our bank account and an email sent to [email protected] so we have your details and can issue you a receipt.

12.01.2022 BSB 633000 A/C 172557944 GoFenceMe has been advised that BlazeAid are interested in coming to Bemboka if there is a need and they could be here and set up in about 6 weeks. Although their workers have already completed a two week quarantine period for their current place of work they would again be required to undergo another two week quarantine period when they arrive in Bemboka. A team of approximately 20 would include backpackers. Small teams of about four would usually wo...rk on each property and they would observe social distancing. BlazeAid might be able share 50/50 the cost of fencing strainers with property owners but all other fencing materials would need to be provided by the property owner. Their camp would most likely be at Bemboka Showgrounds. Although the property would not be required to provide meals, a contribution to morning or afternoon tea would be appreciated eg. a packet of biscuits. At this stage, we need to gauge the total kms of fencing required for Bemboka so if you are interested please reply in COMMENTS below with your NAME, ADDRESS and KMS of fencing to be installed and PHONE or EMAIL contact. Please note that you will need to supply your fencing materials. If BlazeAid confirm there is a need for them in Bemboka then GoFenceMe will attempt to find a local person to co-ordinate with BlazeAid and BVSC. GoFenceMe recently distributed fencing materials from its available funds and does not anticipate another round of distribution in the near future as we have recently submitted several grant applications and anticipate a slow process. Please provide information by 5pm Friday 8 May so that this information can be collated and forwarded to BlazeAid and BVSC. See more
11.01.2022 Thank you to Adrian Tonkovic from BizRebuild for taking the time to visit Bemboka on Friday 11 December and meet with the GoFenceMe Committee and also to see the devastation of the Warri Berri bushfire on our surrounding farming land. In addition to their generous donation of $28,757 for fencing materials they also provided vouchers to assist our farmers with professional service expenses and replacement of tools.
08.01.2022 Reminder: Applications for Round 3 funding for neighbour boundary fencing closes 5pm Wednesday 16 December.
