Recorded phone calls claiming to be from the ATO a...nd other government agencies are trying to trick people into providing personal information. These scammers will tell you theres a legal case against you, and if you dont follow instructions and provide the information requested, youll be arrested. Dont follow the prompts, and dont provide the information requested. We will never send unsolicited pre-recorded messages to your phone, or threaten you with immediate arrest.
