16.01.2022 To put this into perspective of non farmers.......the Qld Government are pushing through laws that would restrict you from weeding or removing any vegetation from your own backyard......so for instance you have a tree in your backyard that is dropping leaves in your gutters or maybe your pool, well sorry but you can not just cut it down, you need to lodge an application for a permit to clear/remove the said tree, which would cost anywhere up to $2000, then there are further monitoring & implementation fees of up to $6000/day for however long your permit runs for.......
