21.01.2022 At 8.10 PM tonight members from the Melton Highway Patrol detected this Ford sedan being driven by a 22 year old male from Kings Park at 142 Kph in High Street ...Melton b/n Coburns Rd and Station St. The HWP attempted to intercept this male who continued to accelerate to 180 Kph b/n Melton Valley Drive and the Melton Highway where he has driven over the roundabout at speed and continued on High street where he has driven through a fence and onto the Western Freeway. Due to his front tyres being blown and damage caused to his vehicle, the male has stopped and was arrested attempting to run away. This males actions were reckless, dangerous and placed members of the public at danger. He will be remanded in custody to face the Magistrate's Court and his vehicle has been impounded. See more
