18.01.2022 Inside the workshop When it comes to protecting our customer's rides, there is no such thing as overkill. Our workshop team go to extremes to make sure that our customer cars are well protected especially during custom installs.... This 1969 Camaro was here for three days getting a full rewire and custom audio system fitted. Before work gets started our workshop team mask off any areas that we will be working near with painters tape. We use high grade painters tape that is rated for two weeks of usage on car panels with zero residue. For added protection in high traffic areas like the boot or doors, our technicans also lay down soft towels and other protective pads. 15.01.2022 So you might have seen last weeks absolutely horrifc fail friday post, if not go look now!! That terrible installation was actually in an otherwise beautifully restored 1969 Camaro. The GCCS team were tasked with completely transforming the audio installation into something worthy of such a great car.... The new installation included custom kick panels, custom rear shelf with spacers integrated and dual custom subwoofer boxes with a beauty panel. The client wanted a neat install that not only looked good but sounded awesome. 11.01.2022 Here's something a little different.... This customer brought us his Ford F250 and race car trailer for some upgrades. The main problem was the heat inside the trailer during race weekends making it very uncomfortable. ... No problem, our friends @carbuilders have an epic solution with their Insulayer 6mm heat resistant foam sheets. This is a peel and stick product that drastically reduces heat transfer in cars and now in this race trailer We applied the Insulayer to the roof and walls of the trailer and the difference was instantly noticlable This client also wanted more exterior lighting, so DB Link lighting came to the party with a solution. We installed four of their 6inch mini light bars and a pair of their ultra bright surface mount lights.
