25.01.2022 Happy New Year to all!! Swim Club starts this Friday 1st Feb. See you all there. First race 6pm. Tell your friends, they are very welcome

25.01.2022 GC North Swimming Club is family orientated, focussing on fun, fitness & friendship. Social swimming meets occur every Friday from 6pm at Biggera Waters State School Pool during the school term. Run by dedicated volunteers, we're all about making a splash and giving it a go!

23.01.2022 Just a reminder, all swimmers will need to have their championship races nomination forms in this Friday night.

20.01.2022 This Friday is our last swim night for the year. We will start the night with 2 races, freestyle plus one the kids collectively choose. Each child will swim the same 2 strokes. After swimming we will take the lane ropes out and the kids can have a free swim/ pool party to celebrate all of their great work this term. Kids can bring noodles/ beach balls etc. to play with in the pool. For the adults we will have a platter of food to share. You are welcome to bring a drink (ple...ase no glass) and we can all celebrate a great term of fun swimming. If each family would like to please donate an item, we can wrap them and raffle them off in as part of our extra special Christmas raffle. More prizes mean more winners. Think pool toys/ goggles/ chocolate/ wine etc. Thank you all for your support this term. We hope you have all enjoyed SwimClub and we wish you a safe and happy Christmas. For those who cant make it this Friday SwimClub returns in 2020 on the Friday of week 1. Gates open 5:30pm Hope to see you all

You will need to enter a PIN. Please click Forgot PIN to have a PIN issued. Then proceed to your Shopping Trolley where you will find existing members for payment.

18.01.2022 Dear members, Due to the on-going challenges that COVID-19 keeps presenting us, Biggera Waters State School has reviewed the school policies and they are different to that of council pools. Therefore, the school will not be hiring the pool to us in term 4. We hope to be back in term 1 of 2021. The committee has researched how we can move forward in term 4, and Helensvale has offered for us to affiliate with them. This means you can still join under Gold Coast North Swimmi...ng but swim out of the Helensvale pool on Friday nights. Please see the FACEBOOK POLL on this page and cast your vote on whether you would be willing to swim at Helensvale. We as a committee are extremely disappointed at this decision and the impact COVID has had on all our lives. Thank you for understanding during these difficult times. 14.01.2022 Hi, We will hold our Gold Coast North Swimming Club AGM on Wednesday the 4 September at 6:00pm at McDonalds Harbour Town. We should be finished by 7:00pm. Kids are welcome to attend as we will be seated near the playground, so they can be supervised. 11.01.2022 Hi Everyone, Thank you for your support and attendance in our 2020 season so far. Due to the concern around Covid-19 and after consultation with Swimming QLD, we have made the decision to end our 2020 season early. We haven't made this decision lightly and we agonised over it, but in light of current information we believe ultimately it's the best call.... We will be sending every registered swimmer a medallion for their efforts this season and look forward to seeing you all back for the 2020/2021 season later his year. Thank you all so much for the support you have shown me in my time as President here and the club is in a great place as I pass the baton onto Andy. I'd like to say thank you so much to Brett, Mel, Ruth and Maree who have helped out so much every week Thank you to all the parents that week in week out, put their hand up to time keep and help out. A huge thank you to the person who undoubtably does the most awesome job each week and that is Kirsty, my right hand lady! Thank you for everything you do each Friday night, without you, the club wouldn't run. You do all the background work and organisation. I just get to stand up each Friday night, look pretty and draw the raffle. Lastly, thank you to the reason we do it...... All the swimmers. Without you we wouldn't have a club. You are an amazing bunch of kids and it's been a highlight watching you grow and improve yourselves. I've loved all our little jokes on the starting blocks and love you all taking time to talk to me and tell me about your lives...... Even if I am an old guy. The club will continue to grow and I've loved my time being here. I will miss our Friday night catch ups, but I will be back to buy a sausage! (I have to..... 10.01.2022 Dear Members and families, This term will be coming to an end this Friday night. So kids and parents please pack you togs for after racing for fun friendly relay races. Please let me know those of you whom would like to participate. As the last night of swimming for the year, please bring in something festive to make up the raffles....
