25.01.2022 ‘We are suspending all classes and social dance events indefinitely’ Hello Tumbao Latino students and dancers. We are sending our sincerest love to everyone. Please stay safe and let’s all do the right thing and hoping this current situation will soon settle down and therefore, we can all go back to our usual routine. May we all come out of this stronger, more positive, more grateful and more with love to one another. ... As you all know I am currently away. The plan was...Tumbao Latino teachers were going to start new classes and social nights from the 31st of March, we were just going to have a 2 week break . However, due to COVID-19 and as per the government regulations we are suspending classes and social events indefinitely for safety precautions. Let’s all stay positive. We will get through this. We are finally realising money has no value. Your amazing job is no longer an amazing job, your expensive clothes now have no worth and no one gives a shit how you look anymore. Your big house is just 4 empty walls like everyone else’s. Your nice car is running on 4 tyres, the same as everyone else’s. We are finally seeing who the important people are, the ones who make a difference to our lives and are doing the crucial jobs we need. Shop workers Care workers NHS staff Emergency services Farmers Teachers Lorry drivers/delivery people Cleaners Refuse workers Community Volunteer groups Transport staff These people are the ones who keep our country ticking over, the core of our daily lives, the people who regularly go unnoticed and are often frowned upon but keep working hard, generally on a low income. People constantly look down on them and gloat that they earn more money than them. But what worth does your money have now? How secure is your job in the real world when we take a step back to reality? I’m proud of all of these people, they don’t earn enough for what they do, and they’re never appreciated for what they contribute. Be kind to them, thank them, go out your way to tell them what an amazing job they’re doing. Could you imagine how shit this would be without them?? Be thankful, I’ll be happy to buy them all a drink if we come out the other side (I even had a very nice man in our local co op today keep some food aside for my dad.......even offering to drop it on his doorstep as he lived not far from him....how kind is that) ‘ Copy and paste if you agree.

Tumbao ...Latino is going through a few changes. We will not be running classes and social dance at Varsity Lakes Tavern next week, 18th March. We are bringing in new teachers and most possibly new time table. We do apologize if this new change/s brings any inconvenience however, we promise to keep the classes and social events more fun than ever and will be forever be more mindful of hygiene practices. Change is always great as it brings fresh air, new experience and growth. We thank you for all your love and support.
