25.01.2022 The way you treat your ex-wife or ex-husband will also shape how your child treats their significant other.

25.01.2022 Congratulations to Louise Millar Hoffmann Pty Ltd on your recent accreditation as a Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner. Thank you for your gorgeous present and kind words. I'm feeling very spoilt. Being a sole practitioner can be a lonely gig at times. I have really enjoyed our time collaborating. All the best for your private practice. # #familydisputeresolution #fdraccreditation #mentoring #collaborating #congratulations

24.01.2022 NAOMI TUCKER'S FULL PRESENTATION Last week almost 300 people attended the Preventing Violence Together Community Breakfast held at Glen Eira Town Hall Auditoriu...m on Tuesday 3 December 2019. Hosted by Jewish Care Victoria in partnership with Unchain My Heart and Glen Eira City Council, the event was held in support of the global 16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence campaign. We have had many requests from those who could not attend asking if we have a video of Naomi Tucker's presentation. The answer is...YES! You can now watch the full presentation from Naomi who discussed the importance of a whole-of-community response to preventing violence and shared her experience of supporting change within the Jewish community.

20.01.2022 THANK YOU In 2016, I enrolled in a Graduate Diploma of Family Dispute Resolution to enhance my practice as a family lawyer. During the training, I discovered my passion for helping separated families sort out parenting and financial arrangements through alternative dispute resolution. Following accreditation as a mediator and a family dispute resolution practitioner, I established Goldberg Family Law Mediation.... Today, I have been included in Doyle's Guide's 'Leading Family Law Mediators - Victoria, 2020' rankings. Thank you to my family and friends, mentors, and to the many family lawyers and mediators, who have supported me throughout my career. Moreover, I would like to congratulate all of my family law peers who received nominations.

17.01.2022 Sarah Everard was walking home. It’s irrelevant whether she was walking late at night. It’s irrelevant whether she was travelling alone.... It’s irrelevant whether she was attractive. It’s irrelevant whether she was wearing something that was deemed flattering or ‘provocative’. It’s irrelevant whether she was sober or intoxicated at the time. It’s irrelevant whether she may have been too nice or too trusting. It’s irrelevant whether she had smiled at someone in a way that ‘lead him on’. It’s irrelevant whether she did or did not have self-defence skills to protect herself. When we focus on the above irrelevant details, when we apportion any blame to female victims of physical and sexual crimes, we are indeed attempting to excuse the men who stalk, rape and kill them. There is no excuse. Ever. Nothing she did, wore, or said will ever justify it. Sarah Everard was walking home. So was Jill Meagher. So was Eurydice Dixon. So was Aiia Maasarwe. So too were countless other women whose names and stories we will never know. And instead of focusing on the vulnerability of women as a weakness, we need to continue highlighting the appalling entitlement of the men who take advantage of it. We shouldn’t have to raise our daughters so they can ‘protect themselves’. We should be raising our sons to respect them. Full stop. Irrespective of what she’s wearing, saying, drinking or walking. - Sara

I learnt so much about:... business strategy risk management trust accounting professional skills & ethics practice management systems & technology business development & marketing costs, billing, profitability and cash flow financial management self-management leadership & management An added bonus was meeting some awesome trainers and wonderful legal practitioners. The LPMC is a requirement for any legal practitioner who wants to work as a: sole practitioner partner of a law firm supervisor of a CLC director of an IPL However, the course is also beneficial for: in-house lawyers with management responsibilities or who are looking to gain an understanding about legal services experienced practitioners who are looking for techniques to grow their practice and update practice managements skills Legal Practice Managers and other professionals working in law firms Thank you Leonie Green and the College of Law team #collegeoflaw #lawyers #practicemanagement

05.01.2022 "The Family Court of Australia and the Federal Circuit Court of Australia (the Courts) are acutely aware that the current pandemic is having an enormous impact on families and the Australian community. Parents are naturally deeply concerned about the safety of their children and how the COVID-19 virus will affect their lives. Part of that concern in family law proceedings can extend to a parents or carers ability to comply with parenting orders and what should be properly expected of them by the Courts in these unprecedented times. The purpose of this statement is to clarify that the Courts remain open to assist parties, and to provide parents with some general guidance. However, it is understood that every familys circumstances are different."
