23.01.2022 The chic rooftop restaurant, Nineteen at the Star - The Star Gold Coast was the spectacular location for DGC Business Events’ virtual famil yesterday, where conference organisers and meeting planners from around Australia logged in to see Chef Uday Huja work his magic in the kitchen. Hosted by DGC’s Norma Swain, the event showcased the oyster journey, highlighting many different factors contributing to the taste and style of this salty delicacy.

11.01.2022 In a positive step towards the recovery and restart of the business events sector, the Australian Government has opened phase one of the Business Events Grants Program. Designed to give business event organisers the confidence to plan and commit financially to events in 2021, eligible event owners will be able to apply for funding between $10,000 and $250,000. The program also aims to create demand for buyers and sellers to participate at events with support available for delegates. Expressions of interest for the Schedule of Approved Business Events are now open and must be submitted by 30 November 2020. For further information - https://bit.ly/3kVG9zw

DGC Business Events Director Shannon Thwaites presented an overview of DGC's recovery strategy and Penny Lion, Executive General Manager Events at Tourism Australia presented virtually on the latest consumer sentiment research and national insights for business events.
