21.01.2022 The newly opened Little Cooly in Coolangatta offers everyday dining at affordable prices, air conditioned comfort with beautiful views overlooking Rainbow Bay. ... Chef Joel Leader has created a range of family friendly Australian pizza and pasta options using mostly locally sourced produce including Bangalow pork and Tweed river prawns. On our recent visit we had the pleasure of sampling a selection of dishes including a very tasty 100 day grain fed, MSA rib fillet served with a Tweed River Prawn Topper. Chef Joel suggested we try his favourite, THE WIPEOUT, A double portion of pasta served with sautéed Tweed River prawns, Bangalow pork, spicy chorizo, Spanish onion and cherry tomatoes, tossed through our house made Napoli sauce. This dish was a definite winner, very tasty and extremely filling! 21.01.2022 Enjoyed a lovely finish to the long weekend with a visit to the Plant Based Cafe for a sensational vegan feast. Had the pleasure of trying a very tasty poke... buddha bowl, the plant based big brekky, the Chi-Kin Burger followed by a towering stack of fluffy Nutella pancakes finished with organic coconut ice-cream, blueberry compote and fresh seasonal fruit. This iconic Gold Coast restaurant has been serving up sensational plates of food ...in Broadbeach for the last 15 years. Recently winning 2 awards including the RCA ‘2020 Best Steak Restaurant’ as well as scooping up the #29 position in the world for the ’50 Best Steaks’ by Big 7 Travel. We had the pleasure of sampling a selection of dishes from the current menu including a very tender calamari fritti with sauce tartare, sorrel and lemon. This was followed by the Hervey Bay half shell scallops with Cafe de Paris butter, green peas and cress. The best selling Wagyu rump cap is a definite winner, juicy, tasty and melt in your mouth tender. It would be perfect with a cheeky cocktail or a glass of red from the extensive wine list. On our recent visit we tried the BBQ ocean trout... in banana leaf, dry red curry rub, young coconut and thai basil ... delicious! 03.01.2022 Looking for a great new breakfast destination in Broadbeach? Do yourself a favour and get on down to No Name Lane Cafe We were blown away by the plates of ...food presented by Chef Josh Roberts on our recent visit. Both presentation and execution of each dish was 5 star! I’m still dreaming about the Brioche French Toast with chocolate creme, banana chocolate crumble, fresh banana, salted caramel and vanilla ice cream! We also loved the Avocado Toast which was nothing like I had tried before with the sweetness and zing of home pickled baby cucumbers and crispy kale crackers...delicious! We also had the pleasure of trying the Pan Roast Salmon, Open Mushroom Omelette and the very Instagramable Pancake Stack. All I can say is, breakfast in Broadbeach just got a whole lot better! PS They do great coffee too. See more

Options include a five or eight course banquet menu and there’s even a vegan choice too. We had the pleasure of sampling a selection of dishes including a very tasty massaman beef brisket and a sensational whole deep fried fish with pineapple syrup. Then I suggest you checkout Paradox Coffee Roasters On our ...recent visit we had the pleasure of trying a selection of dishes from their new Summer menu including a very tasty breakfast taco full of fluffy scrambled eggs, chorizo, salsa verde and chilli relish. I’m a big lover of Buddha Bowl’s and the version at Paradox Coffee didn’t disappoint... edamame, chickpea, pumpkin garlic hummus, kale, broccolini with 2 poached eggs. Waffle fan’s are going to love the apple & blueberry crumble waffles, light and crunchy topped with almond coconut crumble and salted caramel ice cream. We finished with a refreshing lemon myrtle tea infused with butterfly pea flower! Definitely my new favourite brunch spot in Surfers Paradise! See more
