20.01.2022 We recently made a trip down the coast for a hugely successful weekend of hurling & camogie. This was a wonderful opportunity for us to display our great spor...ts and to bring the community together. We wish to thank the Gold Coast Gaels and Carrara Saints Senior FC for hosting this great night and to the Munster Bucks for providing the entertainment. We look forward to continuing this event on a more regular basis to showcase the clash of the ash!

20.01.2022 Irish Community November Remembrance Mass A November Remembrance Mass for our Irish Community will be celebrated on Sunday 29 November at 11.00am in Guardian Angels Church, Scarborough Street, Southport. Fr John Maher will be the celebrant. We invite you to join with other members of our community in praying for the peaceful repose of deceased relatives and friends.... We hope to be able to gather for a tea/coffee afterwards but because of COVID we will not be able to confirm this until closer to the date. 11.01.2022 SUPPORT FOR STEFAN: Stefan Carroll is a young man of 28 years from County Carlow, who recently suffered a traumatic spinal injury in an accident while swimming.... This moment has forever changed Stefan’s life and the lives of his loved ones. While he can never walk again, he can move his arms and there is great hope that as his rehabilitation continues, he may well regain the use of his hands. This appeal is to raise funds to assist Stefan in reaching that milestone. He is a fighter and has always been the hero to his little sister Halle, who decided the muscled arm of strength was an appropriate symbol of her big brothers determination to do the best he can. Every single dollar donated to this appeal will make a difference to Stefan, his rehabilitation and most importantly of all, his future. We are hosting an event day on Saturday, 19th June at the Queensland Gaelic Football & Hurling Association in Willawong. The family friendly event will consist of live Irish music, food, kids activities and a cash bar. It will also coincide with the Gaelic football, hurling & camogie. It is at moments like these that our community comes together and we remember that we are never truly alone, even if we are on the other side of the world.
