23.01.2022 UPDATE- REGARDING COVID-19 FOR QLD GOLF CLUBS AND FACILITIES Dear Queensland Golf Clubs and Facilities, Golf Australia is writing to provide further assistance and guidance to Queensland Golf Clubs and facilities in response to the current COVID situation in South East Queensland. To date Queensland Golf Clubs have done a fantastic job in providing a safe environment for our sport to be played, whilst recently there has been a number of new restrictions on gatherings in South East Queensland, the Chief Health Officer advises that at this stage, community sport can continue provided Industry Covid Safe Plans are adhered to. 05.01.2022 The Gold Coast District Golf Association would like to advise that our President Neil Steinhardt has resigned. We wish to thank Neil for his major contributions to the association during his years of devoted service. Neil has decided to resign from the G.C.D.G.A. to pursue future adventures both personally and professionally and we wish him every success. We will all miss Neil but be assured he won’t disappear completely and the association will still be able to call on him for his valuable experience from time to time.
