16.01.2022 GC Hub Toastmasters Club celebrated a special milestone on Wednesday 10th February, it 100th Meeting. There to celebrate with the members was our Toastmasters District 69 Director Barbara Nielsen and our Area 6 Director Chondelle Bell. Chondelle presented the members who had represented our Club at the Area Contests with their Participation Certificates. Suzi Slater for the Humorous Speech Contest and Sharon Hunneybell for the International Contest. Chondelle also presented S...haron with her 3rd place medallion. Barbara addressed the Club and praised the members for achieving their goals as individuals and also as a Club reaching the highest level as a President's Distinguished Club. She also presented Greg Dolan an Outstanding Toastmaster pin for the work that he does setting up the meeting, taking the opportunity to step into any role when asked and for filling in as Secretary as well as Sgt-at-Arms on the Committee. Our District Director Barbara commented on the high standard of the speeches delivered by Dmitry Khanin, Guil Greffe and Damian Zammit which demonstrated the skills you gain by being a member of Toastmasters and made the meeting even more special.
