15.01.2022 A great way to cap off the Major League Cricket Semi Finals with a win to the 40s over Wynnum to head into next weeks Preliminary Finals. With 3 players backing up from 45s plus superman Peter Blow playing his third game for the night after an injury to captain Gary Hinze earlier in the night. 4 wins from 5 for the night with the only loss being an unlucky 1 run defeat. Over 40s - Cyclones 79 def Caboolture 55

15.01.2022 It was agonisingly close in the Over 50s, the Cyclones chasing 115 looked set for victory until a wicket on the third last ball left them 5 to get off the last ball. Joe Fox set himself for the shot but unfortunately it wasnt to be but a fantastic inaugural season for these blokes.

04.01.2022 In true backs-to-the-wall style the Cyclones Over 45s had to dig deeper than ever before to finish their undefeated season with a Super Over win over Wynnum in the Grand Final. Level at 72-72 in the game it was left to 6 balls per side to decide the match. Les Ham and Dave Gilbert scored 11 in their 6 balls and gave player of the match Dion Moore something to bowl at, and the whole team responded restricting the Seagulls to 6 and earning a well deserved title. ... Next up are the Over 50s followed later by D grade. Congratulations guys, well earned, well deserved.

03.01.2022 Congratulations Premier Mixed on getting through to the semi finals next week with the bare 7 and one of which was a player who hadnt played with the group at all this season, yet looked like she belonged. Every single one of these players has backed up after last night to fight it out and gave 100%, even carrying injuries. A great example of what an A grade team should be, they do it for each other and their club.
