25.01.2022 This is interesting. The entertainment industry is also bound by regulations regarding visa approvals for overseas actors as well as funding measures for Australian producers. It's not the same ol' "harsh" reality of most immigration news the Australian public is made aware of through mainstream media, so this article was a refreshing read.

25.01.2022 Important measure being undertaken by the current government. It may seem a bit behind the times, but migrant domestic violence victims are protected just as all permanent residents. We are happy to see further education and information extended to the thousands of female migrants who may feel trapped between their relationship and visa "rules".
