Yummy sausage sizzle at Bunnings Southport located at 500 Olsen Avenue, Southport from 7am A cheap feed for the family! $2.50 sausage in bread & $1.50 for icy cold drinks Trash & Treasure Sale at Beenleigh Markets located at 38-44 James Street, Beenleigh Lots of bargains available! Would you like to win $60 worth of scratchie tickets? We have a raffle running at both events for a chance to win $60 worth of scratchie tickets, see flyer with this post for details. If you can't make it to either event & would like to purchase some raffle tickets, let me know & I will PM details of how you can purchase. All funds raised assist Gold Coast Cougars Senior League Team with their participation fee & travel to the 2018 Australian National Senior League Baseball Championships being held in a short 2 weeks time. If you have some great GBL Grand Final Photos for the Album : Please email them to :: [email protected] :: Many thanks to the Host Clubs : Carina Redsox, Windsor Royals, Pine Hills Lightning , Pine Rivers Rapids We would also like to acknowledge an incredibly impressive statistic. From the 18 clubs competing in the GBL Competition, 14 had players in a Grand Final this weekend. This is a fantastic result and testament to the growth and improving competitiveness of baseball in South-East Queensland. Well done to all clubs - and in particular their hardworking volunteers - for an excellent season of baseball. The GBL would also like to acknowledge the QBUA support ( QLD Baseball Umpires Association ) and QBS ( QLD Baseball Scorers ) For the First time in History EVERY GBL Grand Final including Juniors was LIVE scored.
