21.01.2022 Amy’s View I thought it might be good if I told you folks about the first play we have chosen for our play readers club. Amy’s View is by English playwright David Hare. It was first performed at the Royal National Theatre’s, Lyttelton Theatre in 1997. It was directed by Richard Eyre and starred the amazing Judi Dench, Ronald Pickup and the wonder Samantha Bond playing Amy, the title role. Next year we are looking for Directors and Writers that have a play they would love to hear read out loud, if that's you get in touch today and book a space at our play readings for 2020. 08.01.2022 A brand new group running out of our home (for now) in Merrimac. Come along on a Tuesday night and read a play with us, drink wine and eat cheese...does it get any better than this? Everyone who attends will get the chance to read if they want to. Limited spaces (14) so bookings essential. We kick off our group with a reading of Amy's View by David Hare on December 10th. Watch this space for more information about the play. The evening will start at 7pm and end around 9.30pm. It costs $10 per person which includes the scripts to read from and refreshments.
