24.01.2022 Hi Everyone, Here is tonight's fixtures - and I've also included the current ladder. All this information is under "Fixtures/Results" on the www.rollerblaze.com page, as well as top scorers etc. Please let your team (or me) know if you can't play any games - then we can more easily find replacements.... Paula Musson is out for tonight and then 6 weeks - fyi Roger Gordon and Eagles :) We wish Paula a speedy recovery from her operation. See everyone else tonight!!

24.01.2022 Training is ON tomorrow morning... hope to see a few there! If you haven't been for a while and would like to come for a push and some exercise and a chat, you're very welcome to join us! :)

22.01.2022 Check this out! Thanks to our very own Nev Wiltshire for this share, I reckon it's awesome!!

20.01.2022 Who's heard this awesome song by Casey Donovan? Well done Wheelies NSW for commissioning this amazing singer! Video featuring Paralympic athlete Eliza Ault-Connell, who recently won the bronze medal for the women’s 800m wheelchair race in the 2019 World Para Athletics Championships. Enjoy!

19.01.2022 SENT VIA EMAIL TO ALL MEMBERS, BOTH CURRENT AND NON-CURRENT - ALL WELCOME! A few things to note - fixtures tomorrow night (times and games below). I've also put our current ladder below for everyone's info. Both of these things can be found in "Fixtures/Results" section of www.rollerblaze.com. FIXTURES / FINALS INFORMATION:... This week is our last week of normal fixtures. Since we have new members (YAY and welcome!!) and some older returned members (YAY!), we have decided that for finals starting next Monday, we will probably "even out the teams" for the Semi Finals and Finals. The ladder is pretty close, depending on who comes to fixtures and who fills in for teams so we think this is pretty fair. In a year that has been interrupted with Covid-19 we think this is the best option, and as you all know, it's not always #1 on the ladder who wins the final!! Saturday - training and moving to Gold Coast Sports & Leisure Centre again!!! We are moving to Gold Coast Sports & Leisure Centre next Saturday before training. This is a permanent move, and we will get more availability in 2021 for training and fixtures (and better exposure to our sport, which is awesome). So please, if you can fit your sports wheelchair into your car, can you please take it home tomorrow night so it reduces the amount of equipment we have to move on Saturday? If you can't fit it, or won't be there tomorrow night please let me know by return email and we'll make sure we get your chair there. FROM SATURDAY 21ST November we are at GCSLC - I have attached a map for those of you who don't know where to go - it's next to CISS where we are now, the new big stadium. You drive underneath the stadium and there is a lift that goes up to Level 1. The lift is located just about where I have marked with an X on the map below. If you can't find us ring me - 0407 101 480 - as I don't check Facebook or emails once I'm at the stadium but will get phone calls. PRESENTATION DAY / END OF YEAR LUNCH Our Presentations and End of Year Lunch will more than likely be on Saturday 12th December at Southport Broadwater Parklands. GC Rollerblaze will supply food - we will probably keep it simple with a sausage sizzle (with some vegetarian and normal sausages) and some soft drinks, we will have our presentations and all get together for a fantastic lunch and social afternoon. You can BYO other food and drinks if you want to bring stuff. At the Southport Broadwater Parklands there is now permanent beach matting, and Mel is going to try to source some "omeo seated segways" for people to try, and I will contact GC Sport & Rec to see if we can get some beach wheelchairs (they advertise on this site that they are available) - http://www.disabilitysupportqld.org.au//wheelchair-access/ . Please email me if you have any queries or suggestions re the above three matters. See you all Monday night!

08.01.2022 WE'RE BACK!!! Hi Everyone, It is confirmed that we will be back to training on Saturday 25th July and our first fixture game is Monday 27th July!! For fixtures go to our website www.rollerblaze.com and click on Fixtures/Results. We are going straight into the Winter 2020 season. Having said that our teams will be re-jigged because a few of our Members are out for a while with injuries/illnesses. Stay tuned for the new teams and if in doubt, ask before the first fixture day!...! Everyone who's injured or has an illness, we wish you all the best for a speedy recovery! $10 for games $5 for training - stay tuned we may not be able to collect cash, it might have to be deposited but we'll let you know. Please remember to bring your playing shirt, a towel to sit on and water. For those who are training on Saturday 25th July we'll see you there - remember we are now located at Carrara Indoor Sports Stadium, which is located between the Gold Coast Sports & Leisure Centre and Metricon Stadium. The carpark is at the back so drive around the Sports & Leisure Centre and park near the entry to our stadium. GC Challenge Carnival: On a side note, we will be putting in two teams into the upcoming Gold Coast Challenge Carnival at GC Sports & Leisure Centre 22nd to 23rd August - we're not sure if there will be enough for a B Grade competition, so we plan to put in two even-ish teams into the A Grade competition knowing that we will have a mix of really competitive games. If you haven't indicated your interest please do so by reply email. Club T-Shirts: We applied for and received a grant from Stockland Communities and we are in the process of purchasing club t-shirts. They should arrive in the next few weeks, which is exciting! Any questions, don't hesitate to ask. Cheers,Sandy
