After all, 2020 is the start of a whole new decade, and what better way to start it than by setting some achievable life goals. If you have the desire to start the new year eating cleaner, getting more active, balancing body/mind and growing older with more agility (not less) I have you covered! 17.01.2022 What a beautiful morning to train outside! Warm but not hot! Clear and bright! Some train with us and stay with your fitness goals!

15.01.2022 Making behaviour changes that make habits stick... #1 - Make it obvious. For example, this could be making a meditation space for yourself right near your bed so that when you get up in the morning that’s the first thing you see, putting training shoes, pants and top close by with socks in them to get them on and get out the door! #2 - Make it attractive. You could try using what author James Clear (Automic Habits) calls, temptation bundling - pairing an action you want to ...do, with an action you need to do. For example after meditating go for a walk, after exercising have a salt bath at home/recovery bar session. #3 - Make it easy. He writes, the key to a new habit is repetition not perfection. Get your reps in! DO SOMETHING SMALL EVERY DAY/OFTEN rather than something big once in a while. #4 - Make it satisfying. Many habits like exercise and often meditation have what scientists call a delayed return environment because you can put in a lot of effort without seeing benefits for a while. So the idea here is to actually set short term rewards for yourself until the habit is embedded. ie. meditate every day this week/exercise 3-4 times this week and set a reward for yourself, make sure the reward is in line with your values. 08.01.2022 A nice seat lays the foundation for a nice sit. With that in mind, here is a little primer on how to sit for meditation. A comfortable upright position is ideal for meditation. A straight spine creates a clear mind. But beyond that, how you sit is up to you. You don’t have to sit on the floor, Buddha-style in a cross-legged position, if that isn’t your cup of chai.
