19.01.2022 The City of Gold Coast is holding free school holiday Youth Band Workshops at two of their venues and we invite young musicians to join us for the two week program. The two week programs will begin on the weekend of Saturday 9th and Sunday 10th January 2021 and conclude with a final performance on Sunday 24th January 2021. The workshops will be facilitated by Young Warriors and the Making Music Live program.... The program provides professionally supervised and mentored programs, which offers opportunities for youth to participate in live music. Experienced industry people mentor the musicians, through to performance with all backline equipment provided. All the participants need to provide is their own instrument and all musical abilities are welcome. The program is open to 13 17 year olds and will be held at the Helensvale Library and Cultural Centre and the Nerang Bicentennial Community centre.
