17.01.2022 Dear all, We would like to officially inform all our patrons that our Ryde centre has now CLOSED....!!! We can't disclose all the reasons why for now as it's councils instructions to keep this matter confidential. We have done everything in our power to stay but unfortunately greater things are planned for this site and to my understanding communal or recreational usage won't be incorporated in such plans. ... We were warmly welcomed 2 seasons ago when we first came to town and we've formed many great relationships with you all. We appreciate your loyalty over this time and would love to see you at one of our new centres coming up soon. At the moment we are awaiting instructions from council to remove our fields, thus the security fencing and bright yellow bollards... We appreciate councils concerns for our fields with such security measures but would have preferred completing the removal....no one likes their local council spending rate payers money on unnecessary things... Thank you to all our staff, our senior and local junior referees, our local supporters together with the GGB crew.... You all know who you are... You've all been very supportive of GG over this time and it's greatly appreciated. Will keep you all posted with further council updates etc... Kindest regards Golden Goal Management

15.01.2022 Hi everyone, Hope you've all been well and enjoying the World Cup.... I apologise for not posting more frequently, but we had a lot of uncertainty whether we'd be staying or going so didn't want to confuse you all with any possible maybes and broken promises. Of late I've been inundated with calls and concerns regarding upcoming comps at Ryde.... I just want to reiterate that we will NO LONGER be trading out of the old Ryde Bowling Club on Blaxland Rd.... City of Ryde Council have allowed us to remove our fields and this will commence as early as this week. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause, but in fairness to you all at least you can register your teams elsewhere knowing we are officially leaving town....!!! Thanks for all your support over the last few years.... Short lived I know but great while it lasted...!! Cheers Alex Medakovic
