08.01.2022 UPDATE! Hi everyone just letting you all know we are finally going to re-open on Tuesday May 19th! Some exciting new changes coming, including new premises We will be moving just 5 doors up from where we are now, next to the chemist at 307A High Street, Golden Square. (the old UK Pub). There will be plenty of signs pointing you in the right direction! Were very excited about the move and look forward to seeing you all. We will also be implementing an appointment system. 05.01.2022 Well. Thats it for the Golden Square Barber Shop. (for now anyway ) Due to the Covid 19 virus wreaking havoc around the world, there unfortunately is no choice but to Close. We WILL be back. Unfortunately no one can guess how long or even what is in store for all of us. ... But we will get through this. Ive been in this game just short of 40 years and be dammed if this is going to stop me now. 24th June 1980 I signed this piece of paper and had no idea what the years where going to bring. Three generations of family Business. Fires, countless memories and generations of customers. I have seen Dads bringing the kids in having to sit on the booster seat. And then their kids, and now theirs. So Im not going to let this stop us. With the support of Jan, my better half and the one I wouldnt be able to be without, we will be back. Stay safe everyone. Were keeping an eye on daily updates of the Covid-19 situation. Were thinking of implementing a few changes and going on an appointment system, therefore reducing the number of clients in the shop at the same time for the safety of all.
