25.01.2022 Had a huge night at the restaurant tonight with the lovely group from the Phillip Morrison group... I left at 9 and they were still going strong. They were joined by many other customers who came to enjoy the atmosphere, service and especially the food. Michael cooked up a storm of great food, every one was left happy and satisfied. One of the best Coffs Cup night so far......Thank you for picking us for your Cup Day Venue.... please come again soon

20.01.2022 Had a booking tonight for a 16 yr olds birthday and they had a feast and a great time... very happy customers at those tables. The other customers also joined in to sing the young man happy birthday which topped off the night... thank you every one....

Now for the Chinese New Years, We will be closing down from the 15th of February as Michael and Emma and the children head back to China to visit family. The restaurant will be closed for this time period of 4 weeks so if you feel like a good Chinese meal please get in before they go....

13.01.2022 Had an interesting talk with Michael about Chinese restaurants. He said he has worked in many restaurants in China where he is from and all over Australia, from Darwin to Tasmania, Perth to Brisbane and many in between before settling in Coffs Harbour and taking over the Golden Crown 5 years ago. He also said that Chinese restaurants are like the Chinese provinces, they prepare and cook their food differently from each other so you may find similarity in some of the dishes but there are always something different. That is why when you come to the Golden Crown that you come with no expectation except the food to be fresh, oil free and delicious.....So come and have a great meal, dine in or take away.... 7 days a week.

11.01.2022 Tonight started slow but soon got busy with a few large groups which was great and they all enjoyed the food and service. I met four lovely people from Brazil who haven't had Chinese food in Australia before and found it very different from Chinese food in Brazil... They really liked their choices that I helped them with. We also had a lovely group of Chinese who are visiting with their son whom lives in Sydney and had never been to Coffs before and are on their way to the Gold coast. All in all everyone had a good time and a great meal.

Now is a great time for the locals to come and enjoy a delicious meal and great service at the Golden Crown Chinese Restaurant on the Jetty Strip.
