25.01.2022 Andrew and I will be at the Prom Country Farmers' Market in Foster this Saturday; it will be our last Farmers' Market. If you're in the area, drop in and say g'day

20.01.2022 Harvesting and processing olives for Extra Virgin Olive Oil is completed at Golden Creek Olives for 2018. We harvested the last of the Picual and all the Leccino on the weekend and processed them separately today. Even Cam, our friendly dairy farmer helped Saturday morning, boosting the team of Luke, Andrew, Lyn and supervising dog Richie. Thanks to everyone who helped us get through the season.

19.01.2022 Our Almond tree is in flower. Just as we've finished bringing in all the bird nets from the olive trees, cleaning, repairing and bagging them, we'll net this little fellow or all the Crimson Rosellas will destroy the flowers.

19.01.2022 Spring at Fish Creek means the olive trees start budding, leaves grow, grass grows, trees are pruned, grass is mowed and we enjoy calmness after the busy winter harvesting.

16.01.2022 Early spring and the olive trees delighted us in showing flower buds. We waited in anticipation and were rewarded late spring with volumes of lemon scented flowers; generally only about 10% develop into fruit. Now we're in December and fruit has very quickly developed with the mix of warm days then rain alternating - perfect development conditions. Roll on summer......

16.01.2022 Our new season's extra virgin olive oil is released to retailers. Check out the bulk stores at udder and hoe Kilcunda and Korumburra, Leongatha Health Foods, The General Store in Meeniyan, The Fish Creek General Store and Aherns in Foster - great value and sustainable use of containers.

08.01.2022 Koroneiki olives have recently been on our harvesting list. The trees are tall and the fruit are small. They don't come off the tree easily and here's Lyn about to lunge into the tree and harvest the olives. Six hours of this and you know you've had a good workout and the oil is worth it!

07.01.2022 Processing olives for the fun of it - Jess, our helpx worker originally from France but travelling the world has been picking and processing olives, putting mulch under fruit trees, helping in the vege patch and at the kitchen sink -always smiling, with us for 3 weeks, we've been very lucky to have her here with us

04.01.2022 What a summer - warm to hot, sunny and with cool bright night skies to refresh us. This is the best Southern Gippsland has to offer, very livable. Our olive fruit are developing well and the trees aren't stressed with the heat. Oil sales have been great, in fact, we're running out of oil. We handover the farm on March 15th. Will keep you posted until then.

03.01.2022 We've been busy picking the last of our Coratina olives and more Arbequina. Monday and Tuesday, 4 of us picked 1.3tonnes and here we are processing Wednesday with a colorful start to the day, aren't the Coratina a beautiful looking fruit? Thanks for your help Romain

03.01.2022 The three of us - Luke, Andrew and I picked and crated 998.2kg of the rest of our Arbequina and some Picual olives over Tuesday and Wednesday - AAA Team effort, thanks Luke. The olives were processed Thursday and it was a smooth run. We're back to picking tomorrow and Sunday, but still have time to enjoy the winter colours in the garden.

01.01.2022 It's Frantoio olives week again. 396kg of lovely olives picked by Andrew, Luke, Jess and Lyn today. We had perfect weather and a great time, these guys just love climbing trees!
