13.01.2022 The second pair of frames restored and regilt

12.01.2022 2 mirrors and paintings had to be restored. Tricky part was that the paintings and mirror couldn’t be removed. RSM Art Conservation worked on the art conservation, whilst I did some repairs, cleaning the entire frame and regilt them and aged it with a dark umber toner. Here's some before and after photos.

10.01.2022 Special job from the Parliament House, the frame is supposedly 1840! Due to the wet weather, the corner ornaments were lose and had to remove the existing restoration work. It was filled with some rubbery filler!! Here are the before and after shots!

06.01.2022 When this frame came from RSM Art Conservation and was asked, can I do this? I thought, oh my god what a mess!!! I wanted to take on the challenge. I had a few obstacles in the way and took me longer than I expected to finish it. At last the monsterous job is completed! Here are photos showing all the before and after shots of the frame and the ornaments that had to be replaced and repaired.
