24.01.2022 School holiday sessions! With so many new faces at the moment, it was great to make the most of smaller school holiday class sizes to get to know everyone and spend a bit of one-on-one time focusing on technique. Well done to everyone who braved the rain to come and hook in- see you all next week!

20.01.2022 We've been keeping busy! Class sizes are growing and it's great to see so many new faces and such a mix of individuals on the floor. Whatever your age or physical fitness, karate CAN be benefical for you, and we're always here to help you get started!
17.01.2022 Here's a blast from the past for your Thursday! A clip from Renshi Peter's 4th Dan grading using the Tonfa- a wooden weapon great for both attack and defense.
17.01.2022 We love school holiday sessions! Smaller class sizes means more one-on-one time with our students, and more opportunities to focus on advanced self defense. Well done to everyone who managed to find their way to training in the fog last night! ... To everyone else, we look forward to seeing you next week for the start of Term 3.
16.01.2022 A 'Fulham Karate Family' moment- celebrating a belated 50th and a 30th birthday at our last training session! Thanks so much to Shihan Scott and Renshi Peter for organising our special cake to share with the gang.
16.01.2022 Hello everyone and welcome to a new week! We're counting down the days until classes resume, but for now have a look at Sensei Pat and Dan giving us some more ideas for defense techniques in: Self Defense Episode 5: The Bear Hug. Enjoy!
15.01.2022 Dear Students and Parents of Golden Knights Fulham Dojo, Due to restrictions coming in at midnight tonight, karate training at Fulham Dojo must unfortunately be suspended again until further notice. Keep up your practise, especially those going for grading, and we will hopefully be back in two weeks on Tuesday the 1st of December. ... Take care, stay safe and we will be in touch.
14.01.2022 Hi everyone! A big thank you to everyone who attended our final 'meeting style' plain clothes session last night- as always, great to see you. Restrictions are easing a bit more and we feel we can proceed very safely now, so NEXT TUESDAY 09/06 will be our first physical TRAINING session, and we'll be BACK IN UNIFORM!! We'll still have to cap things at 20 people for a couple more weeks and it will be no contact, but we'll be able hook in and have a great class. ... We can't wait- see you there!
12.01.2022 TONIGHT'S THE NIGHT!! Get your Gi on and grab your kit- we're back this evening with our first physical training session. It will be a no contact night, but be ready to work up a sweat! For our motivated students who want that next belt, we'll be getting stuck into skills and grading requirements too. ... See you at 6:30pm!
12.01.2022 URGENT: CHANGES TO OUR REOPENING TOMORROW. We're still going ahead with reopening, but our format has changed. Please read the newsletter for our new plan, and see you tomorrow! (For any questions please contact Sensei Karen on 0424454428).
12.01.2022 Hi Fulham Karate, I’m happy to tell you that we can resume training on the 1st of December, and the end-of-year grading on the 5th of December at Mount Barker will go ahead as planned. As we know things can change, but as of the 1st of December, restrictions are slated to be the same as they were just over a week ago.... This has not been an ideal interruption, but everyone was training hard and already prepared for Grading. I have every confidence in you all, and would ask that you maintain your practice as usual this week. This has been another challenge in a year of many challenges, but we always push on and stay positive and focused. That’s part of your training whether you’re going for Grading or not. You’ve all shown great strength and resilience of which I’m immensely proud. We’ll take a brief break over Xmas and New Year, and then Renchi Pete is very keen to run Summer classes in January. More about all that in class on December 1. We will update information regularly and can be contacted any time. Many Thanks and see you soon. Shihan Scott (0422078266) Optional contact: Sensei Karen (0424454428) Or comment on or PM this page.
11.01.2022 Hi everyone! This is a reminder for all our students, parents and instructors that classes RESUME TODAY (1st of December) from 6:30pm. As always we'll be careful and Covid-Safe. ... See you all tonight!

09.01.2022 Nice to see some new faces at class this week! Well done to everyone who braved the wild and wintery weather to join us. Stay warm, don't forget to practise your grading requirements and we'll see you all on Tuesday!
07.01.2022 Well done to everyone who attended our first physical session last night. It might have been freezing outside but we got warm fast! As difficult as it is to jump right back in and get moving again, everyone gave it 100% and it was great to see you all in uniform again. Great work!
06.01.2022 Hi everyone and happy Friday! A big thank you and welcome back to everyone who rocked up for our meeting-style reopening- great to see you all! We're still taking care of each other and playing by the rules in our current format, but the countdown is on until we're back in uniform and sweating it out again on the 9th of June. Have a great weekend, and we'll see you all again on Tuesday!
05.01.2022 A bit of Friday fun! Here's Renshi Josh making the break boards look way too easy. The record stands at three boards (black, yellow, blue) broken at the same time. Maybe next time we'll smash the lot! Well done to everyone who gave it a go- especially our new students. ... Have a great weekend everyone, and see you on Tuesday!
01.01.2022 Here's a bit of Friday inspiration! While we've been on our hiatus from classes, two of our young black belt students (Luke and Lachy) have been busy learning the bo kata- and it's looking great! Just goes to show what dedication can do. Have a great weekend everyone, and keep training! :D
