The opening will commence with a symbolic march from 106 Burt Str...eet to the Boulder Town Hall at 2.30pm. This will be followed by the official opening. 02.01.2022 The Golden Mile Loopline Railway Society’s Tram is in for some major upgrades for it’s 25th Birthday this month. The tram is proudly supported in Kalgoorlie Boulder by the City of Kalgoorlie Boulder, KCGM, Goldfields Esperance Development Commission. The tram recently appeared on the Griff’s Great Australian Rail Trip a great tourism promotion for Kalgoorlie Boulder. ... The Golden Mile Loopline Railway Society is proud to utilise local companies for their maintenance and ongoing servicing of the Tram. A massive shout out to those companies who have helped keep the Tram running in some form Goldfields Truck Power, Cooper Fluid Systems,Fiesta Canvas, Seeley Auto Electrical, Bridgestone Service Centre, Kalmech, A to Z Smash Repairs, Drage Boilermaking and J R Turner Cabinets. The Tram will be back conducting tours as per usual from the Kalgoorlie Boulder Visitors Centre in February.
