25.01.2022 Dont know about anyone else, but its always awesome to see the rain dropping out of the sky. Welcome to share
25.01.2022 Finally had the chance to get out yesterday arvo and trial some new equipment. Usually, when I acquire more gear there are some teething issues, a bit of swearing and head scratching. Same as when you buy a new camera, different sensors, collect different colours and shades or how it represents data, but this bit of kit seemed to work rather well straight out of the box. And for what its cost me (and a few sacrifices from the family), Im bloody glad it did lol... So I set myself up at Picnic Beach and prepped for the sunset. Tbh, I didn’t expect to be posting a video up from it straight away but hey, Im pretty happy with how it ended up, especially with all the wind ( about 20-30km/h from memory). 999 stills taken over 50 minutes. No sound. Video should display in 4K , so as usual with FB, give it a few secs and hit that cog to get the better resolution :) Welcome to share.
23.01.2022 Sunset Time Lapse between Salmon and Fourth Beach Esperance WA No sound 735 Stills Welcome to share... (make sure you click on the cog so it works in 1080p :) )
22.01.2022 Some video from this mornings Dolphin pod encounter. Had a blast watching from up top. Please note that I have kept at least the minimum distance from them ( I am very mindful of this). If it looks close to you it is because the video is cropped in to get a better view ... Welcome to share
22.01.2022 Some Drone footage of Bronze Whalers. I iwasnt sure if its one or two inititally but apparently there were two? ** Please note that the footage has been digitally zoomed in up to 200% to get a closer view and Im not actually flying that close to it ( Doing my best to track 60 meters from a moving target that turns on itself can actually be quite difficult). The footage can be quite deceptive** Shark size Id estimate about 2.5 to 3 odd meters.... Youtube link for 4K below since this platform does such a super job with compression. https://youtu.be/9y-SOA1rlUk
20.01.2022 Its been quite a struggle the last few weeks to get out and be inspired at the right time and in the right conditions. A quick drive into Cape Le Grand National Park has given me the opportunity to claw some of that perspective back again.
20.01.2022 The one bonuses of living next door to a National Park. Just have to actually get the time to get there lol Lucky Bay, Cape Le Grand Welcome to share
19.01.2022 Cant remember the last time I was able to get the camera out. The impending cloud cover was a much needed 5 minutes of diversion from what seems to be never ending working week.
16.01.2022 Taken last week. Almost looks like a explosion in the sky :) Welcome to share

07.01.2022 Fortunately Esperance only copped some wind and rain from the remanence of Tropical Cyclone / Low pressure system "Seroja". For those in the Mid West, hope you recover quickly. This Time Lapse is comprised of 2195 still images taken at various times and locations yesterday. ... The down side to doing these things is the time it takes to edit and produce each still/ clip plus cost to purchase and license the music, but its all worth it at the end when you chuck some tunes to it and watch the clouds roll by. Total clip is about 1 min 43 sec. As always , give FB a few minutes to sort itself out and it'll play in 4K (hopefully). #weather #tropicalcycloneseroja #timelapse #esperance
05.01.2022 Have only ever seen a handful of Dolphins in a pod, but this mornings group was absolutely huge at Blue Haven. The light sand underneath the water made for a good contrast against their skin tones! Video to come :) Welcome to share
03.01.2022 That moment you ruin your own work lol. :) Completely forgot just how wide I set this TL up until Im standing there with the other tripod and start cursing myself out lol, but still, its a pretty cool scene so figured I would still share. 1100 stills covering about 55 minutes of sunset. No sound Welcome to share
