01.01.2022 Golden Plains Legal is proud to be the first permanent, full-time law firm located in Bannockburn servicing the Golden Plains Shire. The vision for Golden Plains Legal began with long term friends who have strong links to the community. Pauline Boyd and Penny Jelfs began a close friendship over 20 years ago while working together in a prominent Geelong law firm. Pauline, a local resident, commenced her legal career in 1989 and was one of the first female lawyers in Geelong.... Penny, who grew up in Teesdale, is an experienced and highly competent Office Administrator and Paralegal. Having close links to the local community Pauline and Penny saw that there was a need for a permanent, full-time law firm that would not only support community residents and businesses but organisations within the Golden Plains Shire. They recognised that the Shire, being one of the fastest growing in Victoria, will continue to grow and expand and they felt that it was important that the community had convenient access to high quality, cost effective legal services. Golden Plains Legal offer a wide range of legal services as well as free will reviews; home and hospital visits for elderly or invalid clients and free public talks for Community Service Groups and Organisations.
