24.01.2022 Here some ideas on how you can help the small business / sole traders right now... Not just me ... Dog washers.... ( Deb Dogwash, hydrohound. And of course Becs)... Cake makers.... to many in GP shire to list Food places.... ( Sorell, red dog, cocos, main st pizza, chicken shop,JJs, the pubs ) Nails techs ... ( I love the nail room) Eyelash extensions... 23.01.2022 So as some of you may know .... Charlie my son had a very nasty crash over the weekend... Thank you to those who where very understanding and allowing me to rearrange appointments ... He has a very slow recovery ahead ..... He can walk and stand even though he has broken his back its a break that is called a Crush Fracture He has badly damaged 3 of the vertebrae with a 50 % compression of the thoriac tx7 .... 30% compression of the tx6 and 10% compression on the tx8 ( that means he has lost /compressed 1/2 of the the vertebrae in tx7 etc etc ) He also has a broken elbow right and broken fingers also right side. I am going to need to do some more important hospital visits over the next few weeks ( not sure when those appointments are yet) and as a result may need to shift some more appointments so I can get him in there . I would like to thank the Meredith CERT team ( first responders ) that attended the situation and the Victoria ambulance service for all there help... and of course the doctors and nurses in the Geelong Hospital who have helped us out as well

It is not a bruise Not everyone will have this darkness, most dont. 18.01.2022 Covid19 and Massage Stage 3 Restrictions Myotherapy has been listed as an Essential service, this is to help ease the medical system in this current environment.... Treatments need to be deemed Essential so I will be asking the questions, Is it essential? Obviously if you are in pain I will treat you . Prolong contact with a person in a enclosed area for more than 30 minutes places both the therapist and the patient at a higher risk of exposure and as massage is a hands on modality we need to limit the appointments. So because of this I will be DROPPING ALL TREATMENT TIMES to 1/2 hr treatments.... I normally allow extra time for consults notes, and payment..... but at the minute I will be moving a lot quicker..... NEW Government Guidelines....... *** 1/2 hr treatments ONLY *** Wait in car until called in *** Sanitise BEFORE entering clinic (provided) *** Only ONE person to be treated at a time ( if you normally attend with a friend, or a partner, one person will have to remain in the car) *** Window will remain open ( heater will be on High though) *** Ill be wearing PPE ~ gloves ~ mask ~ glasses/ googles ~ gown /apron PPE changed for each client....... NORMAL Procedures....... these are carried out in between each client as they where before ( This is mandatory in the industry and its something Im adamant about) ~ The clinic is disinfected between each client. ~ Sheets/ towels bedding is replaced for each client. You as my client have a duty of care to me to disclose if you or any FAMILY members have been unwell recently. Appreciate that if this was the case that you would reschedule. Lets get through this together.....

14.01.2022 Nothing to do with masssge...... But I was so excited yesterday.... we got to see Princess baby ... I thought I would share Princess is a Rehabilitated eastern grey kangaroo, that has been hand raised since she was about 4 mths old..... ( from Jirilinga) She has been released and chooses to come back and visit. Some of you may have seen her before, as she is quite distinctive with a Bullett Hole in her right ear ( which you can see in the video) I dont know the sex of the Joey yet.... that may be a few more months Take care stay home

12.01.2022 Wow 2 days in of home schooling whilst the clinic is closed due to the Covid19 Our second day was a lot better than our first. Schooling for both is being completed ... Its nice on one hand but can be so frustrating on the other Our days run from 845 am till 3pm with scheduled breaks How is everyone else going? Are you coping? Is the internet ok where you are? 11.01.2022 Well I’m back I had a fabulous time resting and spending time with my family and friends. I’ll be working Monday to Thursdays this year with Fridays off ... Once the children are back at school I’ll be running normal times, but until then I’ll be working the afternoons and evenings. Take care and see you all soon

10.01.2022 Behind the scenes ...... Omg my second room is a mess ... but for a good reason.... ... All the towels, blankets, pillows etc that are normally in the main room are not there whilst this COVID 19 is around ... Im doing this to help protect my clients, as you can see in the second photo... I have little piles of towels with face masks, apron, towels all seperate and sorted to grab and go quickly after the disinfecting of the rooms The treatment table... is not as plushly furnished ( not sure that a word ) as normal... again this is another measure that I have chosen to do... to help stop the spread and keep you all as safe as possible.
