19.01.2022 IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT FOR PROSPECTIVE NEW CLUB MEMBERS : JOIN NOW and SAVE $$ The Committee of the Golden Retriever Club of SA Inc is aware of the dramatic effect that COVID-19 restrictions have had in curtailing Club activities and events in 2020 and on some members financial circumstances. The Committee has decided that any club member who is financial at 30 September 2020 (the end of the club year) will have their membership extended to 30 September 2021 without havin...g to pay a renewal subscription. This decision will also apply to any member joining the club from now - new members will still have to pay the normal subscription and Joining fee but their membership will extend to 30 September 2021. This is a fantastic opportunity for potential new members - join now and you will be financial until 30 September 2021.....for just $25.50 for a Single membership or $33.50 for a Double or Family membership. It's a bargain! You can join irrespective of whether you have a golden retriever or if you are looking for a puppy. 17.01.2022 The latest edition of the Golden Era ( the bi-monthly newsletter of the Golden Retriever Club of SA) has been emailed to club members. Our Editor Bronwen Wills has done a fantastic job. It's a great read, packed with great articles and photos of our beautiful breed. If it's not in your Inbox, check your Spam and Junk folders - if you still can't find it please comment below and I will get in touch to sort out the problem. 14.01.2022 ATTENTION ALL MEMBERS OF THE GOLDEN RETRIEVER CLUB, AND BREED ENTHUSIASTS Dear All members and fellow Golden Retriever enthusiasts, The committee of the Golden Retriever Club of South Australia wish to advise its members and interested parties that the clubs Championship Shows have been cancelled as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.... Our 2 championship shows were to be held on the 2nd and 3rd of May with our 2 international judges Mrs Pluis Davern (USA) and Mrs Catherine Zingg (France). Both of our judges are extremely disappointed that they will not be coming and we do hope that we may be able to have them still come at a future date if possible. The committee feel the health and well being of our judges, stewards, officials and exhibitors is of utmost importance at this time. THE CLUB WILL FULLY REIMBURSE ALL ENTRY FEES.
