21.01.2022 Wow, what a beautiful spot! And only 30 minutes away from our resort. We thoroughly enjoyed Kayaking around stunning Lake Morris. We had a picnic, enjoyed the serenity and it really felt like we had the whole lake to ourselves (We were even lucky enough to see 'George' the Cassowary up close, this was a huge highlight). Well worth a visit on your next trip to FNQ. The lake is stocked with Barramundi, Mangrove Jack, and more so why not fish while you Kayak or perhaps go on a fishing Charter, hire a SUP or just enjoy the beautiful scenery and wildlife. #cassowary #fnqwildlife Copperlode Fish and Kayak

10.01.2022 Happy Sunday! What a gorgeous winters day in the tropics. A few new pics of our recently painted building, new signage, new business cards and another one of our lovely one-bedroom apartments. We are so happy with how everything is looking. Why not come and stay this winter? Our onsite restaurant hidden@yorkeys is now open 7 days and is such an awesome place to eat, the setting, the food, the operators, and staff are all amazing!

09.01.2022 A big shout out to Skypark Cairns by AJ Hackett! Our daughter just completed her 4th Bungy Jump, she loved it (backwards this time)! Great place to go with live music, licensed bar, a great atmosphere and surroundings, and super friendly and helpful staff. Nestled amongst stunning tropical rainforest, this is a must-do when you come to visit us, and it is just 10 minutes away.

09.01.2022 Super excited to have our onsite restaurant HiddenYorkeys open tomorrow, now that restrictions have eased! So proud of Kim and Matt for all of their hard work, patience and boot loads of passion for this amazing little gem. Our guests are going to absolutely love having great food and coffee right at the edge of their balconies.

07.01.2022 A lovely visit from our feathered friend. When you stay with us you will experience Kookaburras daily, hand feed them from your balcony, or watch them take a dip in the pool. Our lush tropical gardens attract plenty of wildlife. #wildlife #tropicical #kookaburra #accomodation #secluded

03.01.2022 Wow it has been 1 whole year since we took over the management here at Golden Sands Beachfront Resort! What a crazy ride its been thus far! We have really enjoyed getting to know Yorkeys Knob, the people (and dogs), the amazing beach, and all the incredible outdoor activities close by .
