24.01.2022 Just been to the two new pasty shops in Ballarat Really enjoyed them, They are $6-50 for the small and $13.00 for the large. which was as big as my wife's pasty! All traditional with skirt swede onion potato, and seasoning. Photo takenas they came out the oven

03.01.2022 It is awhile since I last posted on here, but felt obliged after a great meal today.. I went to one of the oldest hotels in the Ballarat region, "The American" in Creswick. I must say I had one of the best tasting steak I have had in a long long time. A 300gram Porterhouse, cooked to perfection, medium rare. The dining room was full, with a great ambience, and a very good wine list for a country hotel. This place is worth a visit if you haven't been before.
