25.01.2022 In-line with new regulations introduced by National Cabinet, the Goldfields Arts Centre closed today at 12pm until further notice. Ticket holders will be contacted directly by our team to receive a refund on all shows that have been cancelled or postponed indefinitely. Our staff continue to work behind the scenes following social distancing and other relevant regulations. We will provide further updates on programming as they come including possible digital engagement opportunities.

21.01.2022 FREE Youth Dance Collective showing TOMMOROW onstage at the Goldfields Arts Centre. The Kalgoorlie-Boulder Youth Dance Collective is part of a wider, three-year program of activity by West Australian Ballet in the Kalgoorlie-Boulder community, activities have been made possible by support from Woodside (Principal Partner), Lotterywest, and the City of Kalgoorlie-Boulder. In an exciting addition to the program in 2020, funding from KCGM has enabled West Australian Ballet to proudly present two dance works by artists of the West Australian Ballet alongside the Youth Dance Collective.

All tickets can be collected from the Box Office during its opening times on the day. ... The cancellation of the 2020 Revealed Art Market will result in a significant loss of income for regional and remote Aboriginal... art centres and independent artists across WA. This event generates a large amount of revenue for these communities in 2019 more than $500,000 in market sales went directly to artists and Art Centres across the state. While it was absolutely necessary to cancel this event to minimise the risk of COVID-19 being transmitted to our states most vulnerable communities, this and other measures currently being implemented will have a drastic impact on their capacity to generate income through artwork sales. 13.01.2022 The State Art Collection is on its way to the recently upgraded Goldfields Arts Centre Gallery! Opening on Friday 6th of November from 6:30pm, the exhibition of 40 works from the Art Gallery of Western Australia’s Collection is part of the Freighting Ideas state wide initiative delivered by ART ON THE MOVE and the Art Gallery of Western Australia. Featuring works by international artists including Auguste Rodin, Pierre-Auguste Renoir and William Kentridge alongside local WA artists such as Lucy Yukenbarri and Bethamy Linton, the exhibition asks viewers to consider how materials change, how they change the view, and the world around them. The health, safety and wellbeing of our patrons and employees is always our priority.
